It makes them sound somewhat arrogant about it, too, because they likely planned it because of how well a WESTERN kickstarter did, and This anime is considered a Tech Demo, because Anime Mirai is something seen as a form of Training for new Anime creators.

I have not much patience for bitchy alpha girl characters and she's even worse in the manga than in the anime. She must have mellowed out.

I mean, she mellows out pretty well at the end of the short, I thought. I agree that I didn't care much for her when she was first introduced, just because of how formulaic a character type it is, but she didn't seem all that bad.
