That's exactly how I got into show...Curiously enough this show doesn't have a lot of people spoiling everything.
Yes, same, three day binge too. I'm really happy for that, I am the worst at avoiding spoilers for everything. :/

DumboThe seemingly small fanbase is both a good and bad thing, really. On one hand, less chance of spoilers, on the other, no one to talk to about it.
And on that note: God. Dayum.
Nothing has made me feel more sick to my stomach than Rachel getting a pencil in the eye. On one hand, she kinda deserved it. On the other... ew.
And Mark is part of a set of male clones. Wow.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Just binge watched it too...and all those female characters! It's heaven!
Is it bad that I actually don't really care for Ainsley's fate? Yeah, I know, it's horrible, because, well, as far as we know she never did anything...but still, she annoyed me more or less every time she turned up with her "I am such a good friend" nonsense. If she really were such a good friend, she would help out during the bottle party instead of just going over the fact that the host feels badly.
I'd been wondering if we'd see a male line. The mythological naming scheme has mildly disturbing implications, since Leda was Castor's mother... Makes one wonder about the original — if there is an original.
It seems Helena left some embryos in Felix's apartment...? I was afraid it was a bomb at first.
400 attempts...!!
I dunno. I don't have any feelings about it — or more like, I have a lot of conflicting, mild feelings about it, and they kinda cancel each other out. Mostly I just like Felix's dismissive summation: "She was wearing a scarf in the kitchen."

I just hope that the male clone actor can pull of the several characters as good as Tatjana, so we don't notice a glaring difference. Tatjana had the advantage that she could just start fresh with no baggage, but now that she has established her acting talent, that guy has to keep up.
You lost!True.
Though he may not need to play too many distinct characters.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I really fell in love with Helena's character during season 2. Really hoping she bails herself out from the hands of Project Castor pretty early in season 3 (or better yet, Sarah bails out her sestra and they never ever get separated).

Oh, I know. Helena is kind of my favorite clone.
Also, I have a feeling all the Marks are military.
That was pretty much confirmed, so yeah, I agree with you about the Marks. I wonder how Crazy Mark ended up in Marian Bowles' basement?
I'm also wondering about the original genetic sample of the Leda clones as well. Who was the original Tatiana, the one that all the clones came from? And are they still alive/involved/lurking somewhere?

Who even is Crazy Mark? Did he have the angel wings like Helena? Did both Prolethean sects have a Mark...? And I just thought they were the same guy...? I'd have to go back and watch the diner scene again...
He was seriously crazy, though. I found him genuinely intimidating. Promising start. :D
Tatiana is kind of amazing, especially with her body language.I love how we can tell one clone is impersonating another. Every episode, I think how much fun a role like that must be for an actor.
There doesn't have to be an original. In fact, it is technically easier to do all this without one. Artificially dividing a fertilized egg at the early embryonic stage is *lots* simpler than cloning an adult.
Mmm...but wouldn't that mean that there are "real parents" too? I mean the genetic material has to come from somewhere.
Sure. Remember that dyad runs fertility clinics - finding donor materiel would not exactly be difficult. Heck, wouldn't surprise me if they are technically all Marian Bowles daughters. There is a certain resemblance.
Marian looks a bit too young to be the original- granted, the youngest that the original could be is 31-ish, I suppose, but I expect the genome to be based on someone older- if it matters at all, that is.
The thing is, what's so special about this batch of clones that they need to make more with the exact same genome? There's hints in the name "project Leda" and in Kira's survival of the accident that they have some sort of superhuman traits, but we haven't seen those manifest in the clones themselves yet. So, the simple act of cloning humans and making them infertile is not the end of it.
Also agreeing on the odd naming choices- granted, if it was called "Project Pollux," we'd all know there was a counterpart batch somewhere. The name "Leda" also relates to ova cells- in some variations of the myth, Leda laid two eggs after making love to Zeus, one of which contained Castor and Pollux.
3DS Friend Code: 0018-0767-4231Wasn't the reason because they lost the records how they did the first batch and now they are trying to figure out how they did it in the first place? Or did I misunderstood something?
Yay, Orphan Black got renewed! Season 3's coming Spring 2015.
That's such a great video. I can already tell Charlotte/ mini-clone is going to be awesome.

The kid did a pretty good job! She definitely got Allison and Cosima.
The second egg opens new opportunities in the future if they want to thicken the plot (not that they need it right now).
Maslany not nominated for an Emmy is an enormous snub. Robin Wright was great in this season's House of Cards, but she can't compare to the marvellous work of Tatiana.
The funny thing, Tatiana Maslany doesn't even care about the Emmys, hahahaha. I still wish she'd get nominated and win eventually, though.

Am I the only one who thinks the relationship between Sarah and Paul is really creepy? Paul fakes a rekationship with Beth, then falls in love with her double W Hile she's pretending to be Beth, and then decides that he still loves her when he finds out she's a different person, without taking time to think about what that means. The relationship that seems much more plausible here is between Cosima and Delphine. I can get invested in whether or not it will workout in end, how much Delphine is faking her feelings, and the inevitable angst when Cosima finds out. Paul is just a generic pretty boy. FYI I'm halfway thru season 1

I don't know if he's in love with Sarah so much as he has vested interest in her, as he did with Beth. And now the sex is good.
I think Paul does care about Sarah, but he definitely has shady goals of his own.
I just binge watched the whole show the last three days... Went into it with no spoilers somehow... OMG SO GOOD
