Executive Producer doesn't make him immediately Brode's boss (Executive Producers tend to have very little to do with production), though of course it doesn't mean it's unrelated.
Chu wrote the flavour text for Whispers of the Old Gods. Dark Wispers karma.

The Revolution Will Not Be Tropeable20 seems like a lip service than an actual nerf, but it's nice to see the animation problem being fixed.

grahElle: Obligatory advice to craft decks (as opposed to individual cards) applies, but Genn and Baku seem to be pretty safe and are likely to receive more support with future expansions simply because more cards are available. We're still two weeks into the expansion though, so the meta hasn't fully stabilised.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.I don't think it was meant as nerf TBH
The Monster Hunt is live.
There are quests for beating 10 opponents with respective MH classes; reward's a card pack. Some treasures are recycled from Dungeon Run like Glyph of Warding (Enemy minions cost (1) more) and some are class-specific (i.e. Crowley can have a Tuskarr Raider who, apart from being a well-stated Rush minion for 4 mana, triggers his Cannons after attacking). [Cannons being immovable things that deal 1 damage to things opposite of them, triggered with a Hero Power; if they kill a target, HP is refreshed]
grahI failed a few times with the Tracker, then had a full clear with the Cannoneer. The hero power wasn't even all that decisive; it was the hordes of taunt minions.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Cleared my first run, with the Tracker, on my first try, in same way I cleared the Rogue dungeon run: endless jade golems.
Easiest to hardest (apparently, since I’ve only cleared with the first two so far): Cannoneer, Houndmaster, Tracker, Time Tinker
Least to most fun: Time Tinker, Time Tinker, Time Tinker, Time Tinker, Cannoneer, Houndmaster, Tracker
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableI haven't yet had a chance to try MH, but given my history with Dungeon Run, I don't expect to see too much of the later levels.
I'd say it snowballs harder than Dungeon Run, since a lot of the loot is specifically geared towards powering up and making use of the specialized hero powers. I completed the Cannoneer on my second run.
Got a Prince Liam from the pack, too. Not one of the legendaries I'd have chosen, but perhaps he will prove himself to be a rising superstar yet.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes.I LIVED THE DREAM.
I was playing a F 2 P Controllock deck on ladder and ran into someone playing Quest Priest.
Then they played Archbishop Benedictus and stole my deck.
Then they Psychic Screamed my board away, with Benedictus still on the board.
Then I discovered Rin from a Tortollan Primalist.
I won exactly the way you think I did.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableThat's just sick. I love it.

Is it just me, or is the Hunter's power like the worst thing ever? Or at the very least it doesn't synergize with any of their decks at all. I mean I guess it's technically better than the Warlock power (maybe?), but I feel like there's nothing I could possibly want to spend 2 mana to draw in this deck, and the fact that it takes random cards from the enemy too means I can't even try to build around it.

Oh, monster hunt? I think it's actually great with the Wolf upgrade (1 cost, can use twice per turn). It mainly lets you recycle important cards.
With that upgrade you can pretty much just spam Sinister Strike for the first five bosses and after that it is pretty important to have enough resources to survive the last bosses.
My first run used that, and my final boss was Shivers. I just used Tess' weapon card with Shivers' own weapon buff to create ridiculously buffed stake throwers and kill him incredibly quickly.
I meant the Tracker, sorry. Scavenge is the hero power.
I actually never had any difficulty getting the card I needed out of it. It's more about the bucket than the power.
Mind you I never actually WON with her, so take that with a grain of salt.
If anything I found Toki's power to be the most frustrating, just because it does not, strictly speaking, change anything. Sure it's nice to have a mulligan on some RNG cards, but my luck isn't going to be any kinder on the second go round than the first.
Birthright: an original web novel about Dragons, the Burdens of Leadership, and Mangoes. There is some variance, obviously, but there are definitely spells you can aim for to load up with. Repeatedly scavenging out Jade Shuriken is the easiest way to win, I think. Certain bosses have particular cards you really want, too (thinking of Forlorn Lovers’ Gang Up).
I said Controllock. I don’t have a Skull, I don’t run Doomguards. :P
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableIt took a few tries, but I just defeated Hagatha. I like the Monster Hunt, but I didn't enjoy it as much as the Dungeon Runs. I think my main complaint is a lack of flavor. The Witchwood being scary and all is fine, but I didn't enjoy the serious Genn and Haghatha as hosts nearly as much as I did Togwaggle. The new "classes" were fine, but a little under utilized I would say. For example, I expected more cannon synergy and some unique cards (especially in the reward buckets), but I got none. The final fight against Hagatha was cool, though!
I don't know who said the Time Tinker was hard. I had some difficulty with the first couple of bosses, but once I had the upgrades to reduce spell cost and double the first spell cast each turn, it was all over but the crying. The boss who gives all spells Echo was the most hilarious one. Zero-mana Arcane Missiles = Turn 2 OTK.
On the final boss, I double-cast Time Warp and beat the everloving crap out of her... er, myself.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Got golden Chameleos from monster hunt packs! Must be a sign.
“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson.Just beat Hagatha. Generally speaking it's not so much the specific class that hard (Toki's Hero Power feels useless sometimes but you can abuse it, and Double Cast is surprisingly easy to manipulate), but there are some bosses that are plain hard to beat in general - Vitus, Sazzmi and Face Collector come to mind for me - and then there are some bosses that are hard counters to specific builds, e.g. Grum against midrange-style decks that don't have much burst from hand.
Fun things you can do:
- Tess vs the Whisperer: This one was all over Reddit, but if you Hero Power before any spells are cast you get a Moonfire reprint, which you can spam to OTK.
- Toki vs the Scarecrow: Since you start with a copy of Blingtron, you can use it to break that annoying Scythe. It makes the rest of the match a walk in the park.
- Toki with Double Cast and Time Warp: You know what's even better than that? Toki with Double Cast, Time Warp, Gilnean Vigilante (the minion which destroys an enemy minion and fills your hand with coins), and Archmage Antonidas for overkill. Not only did I get to play all of those against Toki, she even played Fel Reaver against me and my handful of coins.

Hamilton Chu left on the same day as Brode. He was the executive producer, so Brodes boss. Make of that what you will.
