Lost three arena games in a row, but got Kun in the consolation pack so I'm going to call that a success. :D
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableWrathion is a good card for those who wants to cut out Azure Drake and only has an average 8-10 dragons in their deck.
I actually did rather well with a Warlock deck I threw together last night, which is surprising. That's like my least-used class but I went 3-2 while I needed it to do a quest.
Gadgetzan Gazette Vol. 32 #11 — Guess what, guys? That unbreakable bank got looted. Who could have guessed?
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I don't know about you, but it was the bread jokes at the bottom that really did it for me.

It looks awfully like, as the article suggests, the guys who broke into the vault and the ones with the keys to it are connected. :D
I'm not sure about spending money to buy packs in this game. I just spent $10... and unlike before during my starter buy where I got Jaraxxus in addition of the 'obligatory Legendary' Cenarius... I got absolutely nothing. Only 1 Epic and 1 Common Gold out of 7 packs.
(sigh) Feels like a complete idiot.

It's generally agreed that buying packs with in-game gold is the better deal unless you are able to bulk buy at a discount (i.e. with an Amazon Coins deal). Put cash toward adventures before packs.
Duly noted. That will be a mistake I will never repeat. I only have to spend 1 more $7-8 to get Swashburglar from Karazhan.
That said... 190 golds currently. Go Arena or wait 1 more match win then buy 2 packs?

Depends on your confidence. It takes I think 3 wins to make up the difference in price; any more than that is pure profit.
My new pleasure as Dragon Priest: stealing reno Jackson from reno decks with draconic OP. Ideally multiple copies. Reno decks never expect non reno decks to drop him late game :P
Arena can realize significant profit over just buying packs but you have to spend the time doing it enough to be at least decent at it before that happens. If you are new, your focus should also be more on Classic packs than any other set; Arena always rewards the most current set's packs (with a chance of an extra from any Standard set).
As for gold, I'm trying to be better about building a reserve (and I just blew all my saved gold on Gadetzhan), so the trick I picked up for that from an article is that is that for every 100 gold spent, I hoard 30. Saved gold gets spent when there's something big to spend it on, such as a new expansion. If you want to dabble in Arena (cause you have to start somewhere) maybe budget for one or two runs per week.

Playing Dragon Priest mirror match. Turn 10
My hand: Ysera, Ysera, Ysera, Ysera (Brann and Dragon OP is awesome), Ragnaros, Book Wyrm, Dragonfire Potion
Me: "Hrrrm, this might be a grueling match that goes into fatigue. Going to need more Ysera... I still got entomb in the deck..."
So this is the arena guide. And they say always pick the card that's on higher tier.
Bunch of bollocks, if you ask me. What I needed was something to establish control for a mage, not more creatures! So when there's a creature on higher tier than, say, Mirror Image, don't tell me to pick that creature over Mirror Image!
Today's lesson, I'm not ready for Arena.

I recommend:
1: Heartharena.com and its drafting coach. It will actually talk you through pick.
2: Watching arena streamers like Kripp, Hafu, ACWDATA and Merps, etc to see how it's done. Trump SC also has an "iDraft" playlist on his Youtube channel where he talk specifically though drafting (though it's old and doesn't include all the newer cards.)

...Did you read the guide to the tier lists?
Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.I will vouch for them being worth registering for.
Lucky me now I got a Golden Legendary... a GL Ysera.
Recycle or not?
Ysera's used in some control deck. Keep it.
Also I dunno if this is bug or something, but apparently legendaries from Adventures can now be disenchanted. Meaning, I could disenchant cards like Rafaam. Should I?
Never disenchant anything that isn't full dust due to nerfs.
That's my philosophy anyway. Everyone has to come up with their own.
Do you care about Wild? Might end up using Rafaam there some day. Brawls? He's been good, though not meta breaking, in a few. Just want a complete damn collection? Hold on to him.
Or do you just care about Standard and having a competitive deck that you can play right now? Dust.
In a game like this, you'll last the longest if you make your own long-term goals for the game. Then approach dusting cards based on that.

Well right now I want to focus on the Standard and completing my deck so I can began on Ranked with more success. However, if I dust an Adventure Legendary, is there any way I can reclaim it?
Also, now that I got Ysera and also Cenarius, I'm thinking to gear onto Druid decks. Which Druid deck utilize them together? It's OK if it turns out they don't match, I'll just find a Druid deck that goes well with Cenarius and move Ysera elsewhere.

He is perfect for Reno Dragon Priest though, I have been running a modified version of Savjz's priest and its a blast.
