I feel like that team should switch out Vergil for Nero, who is much more likely to work with the others.

Guilty Gear x RWBY is also a perfect crossover. I can see Ky Kiske teaching Weiss some moves and how to be more ladylike or something. Ruby fangirling over Sol's weapon. Also Jaune being tutored by Ky, Nora befriending May... So much potentials

And his flamethrower-guitar could turn into an axe. Come on, that also makes sense.

Speaking of Mad Max, where the hell can I find a decent Mad Max fanfic, crossover or not?

... I could write one myself; basically Kamen Rider V 3 in the post-apocalyptic Japan. But since this is a RWBY thread...

Anyway, will the Fauna-Doof Warrior be a mole faunus? Since they're basically blind, and Doof is also blind—albeit because HE HAS NONE TO BEGIN WITH—I think it would be fitting.

No. The Red Queen, Nero's sword. It has a bike engine and gas mechanism in it that basically allows Nero to turn his sword into a vibrating flaming sword of doom at will.

Ah, that one! And Nero's revolver is named Blue Rose, right? I remember now.

Nobody's cool enough for Red Queen! Or Nevan, for that matter. Although either Coco or Velvet basically have Pandora already. And based on literally nothing I'll say Scarlet and Lucifer.

I forgot that Scarlet and Sage existed.

Speaking of which, Sage would look good using either Beowulf or Gilgamesh.

Now for the firearms of DMC... Don't forget that they are various as well.

Red Queen is essentially Sol's sword, Fireseal (And Nero essentially had Order Sol's charging mechanic with it), which got upgraded to a more hybrid version, Junkyard Dog MK.2 in Xrd.

I actually thought of Sin Kiske running into Jaune's team in Guilty Gear x RWBY. It leads to him sparring with Jaune, and Pyrrha asking him to go easy on him. Unfortunately for her and Jaune, Sin attempting to go easy on him still winds up in Jaune getting K.O'd.

I've never understood the hype behind that sword.

...I never understood the hype for Nero, I mean, Johnny Yong Bosch, and that's it. I never got Vergil's popularity either, but he Vergil was Dante's foil, a Blue Oni, a badass samurai type.

Lady and Trish would be a fairer match for the RWBY world, methinks.

Nero is cool mostly because of the Devil Bringer. Red Queen I'm less enthused about. I'm glad that the exceed moves exist but I don't get much use out of them because I don't timing good.

Oh, almost forgot, Blue Rose's level three charge shot is the way and the light.

Map shooting to a shoulder button for maximum hilarity. And I dunno, Red Queen has just that mix of awesome and practical-if-you-forget-what-the-word-means that just tickles me.

Is Argosax even considered canon anymore? Thought Capcom just wanted to forget that game ever existed, since Devil May Cry 4 is still supposed to take place before 2.

Eh, it's close enough, and it's not too far out of left field given Dante's displayed power in DMC 4. DMC 2 is still grey sludge that I refuse to play. I have the game as part of the DMC HD Collection, I just don't want to play it.

Moving out of the DMC talk back into the RWBY talk, but still in crossover talk, I would love it if Banesaw turned out to be like Nux from Fury Road, if only to hear him say "Oh what a day! WHAT A LOVELY DAY!" And get surprising and well done character development.

... Banesaw is the one Weiss fought in the train, right? With that chainsaw sword thing?

Nah, we just call him Banesaw because he's big and he's got a Saw.

I still wonder how Faunus biology works. We know that they all can see in the dark, but how various are they?

Again, we know that, so far, they're all based on mammals, but are there any... sub-species? Like bird people, reptilians, aquatics, etc.

... I think I've asked this before, but I just wanna know.

I really do want to see an oceanic episode one day. And the airships allow for the possibility of exploring what may haunt the skies more than the brief encounters with nevermores have done.

I want some hunter/huntress harpooning a leviathan Grimm, dangit.

My guess is still magic genetics. Faunus plus Faunus equals another Faunus, with animal species just being chosen at random. If Blake and Sun have a kid, it's not going to be some cat/monkey hybrid, it will just be a cat or a monkey.

If you want to look at this from a more scientific point of view, then every Faunus has the genetics for multiple animal species, but only expresses one at a time. Like how lots of people have the genes for blue eyes or blonde hair, but rarely show it. This could also explain the seeing in the dark thing—Sun is a hybrid animal with nightvision that just looks like a monkey.

Either theory still allows for some characters to have one Faunus parent but not be Faunus themselves.

I remembered that Monty said that humans and Faunuses can be together and have kids. WHAT they will look like, however...

Eh, I'm sure they can be either humans or faunuses. Or human-faunus hybrid... However that works.

God, I wish Faunuses were covered in World of Remnants. I hope V3 WOR will have an episode on them.

Wrong word. What I meant was they may have traits without the physical indicator like ear, tails, or horns.

Maybe animal features are just a trait all Remnant humans can have, in the same way as a hair or eye colour, and they're a race in the Terrestrial sense?
