Well, let's just hope Japanese-style animations made by westerners are common enough in the future for people to stop asking.

Now for the new thing, has anyone seen any Japanese animations done in a clear Western-style?

If the voice acting were at least up to the standards of officially aired western animation, that kind of questions would have been raised less. ::P

Upon watching ep 4, I just realized something.

Ironwood must have some really good PR team on his forces, because he got completely away with the whole Paladin incident. Don't tell me there was any witness either, we see Paladin, on its roaring rampage, trampling through multiple cars on a fairly crowded road.

Any European cartoons that has anime inspired art style? I remember Marathon's Totally Spies and Martin Mystery being animesque, but surely they're not the only ones who does that.

I kinda wondered about that too. I mean, GIANT MECHA OVERTURNING CARS ON THE HIGHWAY!? National panic would ensue!

Maaaaaaaayyyyyyy be the kinda thing better off not thought of.

It's not just giant mecha rampaging around.

It's a giant mecha rampaging around...less than days after it was oh-so proudly advertised as a new protector of mankind. Hell, for all we know, it might even be the exactly same day. Seriously, in real life that would be enough to get Ironwood fired twice over.

You know what? At least Ozpin and his students were almost instantaneous in cleaning up the whole Grimm mess in Vol 2 finale. But Ironwood did NOTHING to keep this mess in check. And HE got away with that while Ozpin got disciplinary measurements?

What gives, Miles & Kerry.

Perhaps it may have been another incident of Monty going "IT'S AWESOME TIME!" in spite of writing demands, like Penny fight?

Probably not though, I'd imagine they learned from that.

I genuinely respected Monty for many things. Writing, is not one of them.

The students Hunters got there before the Atlas fleet and they had it mostly under control, barely sweating. In fact, the military was completely redundant.

Matter of fact, the ONLY thing the robot army managed to do was steal team Dudebro's thunder. Even Jaune was doing pretty OK before they showed up.

I mean, yeah, I'm always up for thunder getting stolen, especially when it's hilarious, but still. They didn't get much done that CFVY wouldn't have been able to do when they showed up a bit later. Did they even deploy a Paladin?

Come to think of it, the Atlas military had like 5 Paladins stolen.

Way to go, guys.

Either Roman's that good to steal them, or there's an insider.

I mean, you can always copy blueprints, right?

Not if you don't have the materials and equipment necessary for production.

Clearly all that's needed to make them is SHITTONS OF DUST

After stealing one, they either also took a hold of the blueprint or manufactured more mass production version.

Either way, in real life? Ironwood WILL get his ass court martialed for that staggering acts of incompetence.

Man, the RWBY soundtrack is so good. I'd forgotten it, but dang.

Hah. Now that you mention it, the most we got out of that was an offhand comment from Ozpin an episode later.

I've been listening to the soundtrack during my shift for the past couple of months now. I'm frankly quite surprised my battery's lasted this long, nonetheless, I've got Boop, Caffeine, Die, Sacrifice, all 4 'character songs' (Red Like Roses Part II, don't like Part 1, I Burn, From Shadows, Mirror Mirrow), and This Will Be The Day queue'd.

From Shadows is a definite favorite. I love the switch-off between the male and female singer.

Someone took the fall for those missing Paladins, didn't have to be Ironwood.

By that logic, Ozpin shouldn't have been blamed for the whole Grimm outbreak either.
