He doesn't really appear too entertaining either so far, honestly. The closest he got to humor was mocking Cinder.

I mean, I expect him to have some sort of depth, but I expect to be disappointed as well in case he doesn't.

Actually I don't think his intention was to mock her.

I didn't get that vibe from that scene either. That being said, I'd be more surprised if they did give him some depth; I feel like they want him to just be an entertainment value character.

Just based off first impression, something like emotional deep is most likely to come from Hazel, I think, again assuming that nothing changes Cinder's path in the story.

Tyrian is not that entertaining to me either. He's not funny, and he's too over the top to actually be frightening.

We'll have to wait as we haven't really seen the villains for most of the volume.

Blame the fact that it's keeping track of 4 stories at once.

I still think that splitting Team RWBY up was kinda dumb. Especially now because this volume is taking it's time with the plot.

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!

[up][up] He also looked like climaxed from his laughter.

Though depending on how much of him is seen we might get an idea of how he gets Information. He looked threatening, but he could have just had a menacing friendly chat with waitress.

"I think that acting as if nobody has learned anything from last time is doing everyone in the thread a disservice"

I will have to disagree with you here since the fact we dont touch repeat themes is us learing about past experiences, also the theme about Sun is so far the largest debate here, since it grow so long in time he move to another thread and even them was moved so I can see why people are so carefull.

Anyway, that was them and this is now.

"we'll see any of Salem's other inner circle in action this season, or is liable to be Tyrian and Tyrian only?"

if they move Weiss plot, them we will see Watts as I feel he is going to Atlas(and if you ask me, he is the one who pass super code Cinder used to hack Ironwood fleet....on the other hand, is lack of information regarding Beacon is weird), if they push Blake plot them we will find Hazel who is going to see Khan.

Also, I think Tyran will be the "Wolf" of Ruby Red hood and Qrow is the woodsman, after all this is their perfect oportunity to put the little red hood story.

and for last, did monty have a favorite grimm they plant to show this season? it was the Geist or the dragon?

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.

Personally I think it would be to early to have Tyian taken out this early. His target is Ruby alone. So he'll probably separate her for the rest of the group and trying to take her.

What fun would that be? Seriously, sadistic pleasure is the entire reason he wanted to do this, you think he's going to be smart about it?

DeanCole Since: Jun, 2015
#42563: Dec 5th 2016 at 4:35:30 PM

[up] Yea he's sadistic but that doesn't mean he'll walk into a fight he knows he's likely to lose for the hell for it.

#42564: Dec 5th 2016 at 4:36:15 PM

How exactly are we defining "smart" in this situation, because the most I can imagine Tyrian planning is the box trap with cookies as bait.

[up][up][up]Maybe. I've seen nothing to indicate he wouldn't love the chance to hurt a lot of people along the way. I don't even know why you'd assume he'd be likely to lose.

Salem is confident enough in him to send him out on his own to capture the Spring Maiden. I doubt a few kinds would intimidate him.

Honestly, they ought to drop dead at the sight of him.

I don't know.We don't actually how he planed to capture the Spring maiden.

I guess I agree that one can't really judge his abilities yet.

I suspect that the fight will essentially be a hard fought loss on Team RNJR's end, with Tyrian defeating them, Jaune manifesting his semblance in some way to save someone from dying, and Qrow appearing to save them after the fact.

Well is hard to said, Cinder was able to take down a maiden by cordinating a ambush and while RJNR is good, Tyran seen to be better.

I just expect this is not a harry potter situation where the younger student throw pretty light and the adult does all the weird and super badass stuff

I just want Ruby Rose vs The World 4-person local co-op beat'em up that's fun to sit down and chill with, but the universe keeps pulling in other directions.

When Remnantstone? Or Grimm Go? Or Blake Rush? RWBY Run? I don't want a Type-Moon RWBY game, or a 3D, online brawler, or Blaz Blue RWBY edition - 2D sprites with amusing Skullgirls-esque animation is the easiest and safest way to go about it. Okay maybe not Skullgirls-esque considering that game's never getting a sequel for all the work they put into it, but still.
