Omega Mode is now out for consoles and Ultra Trials have been added for everyone, AE and Ultra newcomers included.

Omega Bison is fuckin great

Yeah, Bison with an overhead is pretty damn sweet. Kinda disappointed with Dudley though.

For whatever reason the patch didn't have an updated command list.

Not surprised at all. They did say that Omega mode was more for fun than for balance, after all.

I laughed my ass off when I saw a Gen player use that infinite on someone playing online. Of course he lost anyway, but still.

I know they weren't going for balance and stuff but, that's just laughably bad.

I know I've compared it to Mugen but even the most egotistical mugen authors would not let that one in laffo capcom

Akuma's balls are the size of moons by now. Poor man will never be threatening again. Guy's gone Ragna level punked.

And then this quote from The Running Man came to mind during Bison's Ultra 2

"But I hope you leave enough room for my fist because I'm going to ram it into your STOMACH and break your goddamn SPINE!!"

So quick question. I just downloaded USFIV as an add-on for my disc copy of SSFIV. I also had the Arcade Edition add-on before this, but I deleted it off my PS 3 hard drive some time ago to make room for other games. Now that I have Ultra, is there any reason to redownload Arcade Edition as well?

With any luck you shouldn't have to redownload AE to get Ultra to work.

I got it to work just fine. I was just wondering if there were any features in Ultra that you needed AE for.

I don't think so. Ultra probably handles the new trials, Edition Select and Omega on its own.

And I obviously still have the fighters introduced in AE. I guess I thought maybe I wouldn't be able to choose the AE or 2012 versions of fighters in edition select, but that doesn't seem to be the case either. Looks like I'm good.

Damn, I didn't expected Makoto's Ultra to punch people off the stage.[lol]

It's hilarious how that super of Yun's that defies the laws of physics cheats even more than it already looks with the animations in order to work properly.

To wit:

  • Laggy as shit menus. Laggy as shit menus
  • An annoying ass watermark whenever you're streaming seen in the upper left corner
  • Dropped frames and other such stupid malarkey as seen in the video
  • Netcode that's hardly better than PS 3 reportedly.

this is titcocking next gen bro

[up][up] On the one hand, that seems like just the kind of glitch that would be awesome as a move in a later game (like Dhalsim's teleport).

On the other, larger hand: damn, that's shit.

On the third hand, I actually think this one is pretty neat.
