Huh. You'd think they would've done this years ago.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."It starts next week!? Cool can't wait!
Susan is normal-sized in the commercials. And that really bothers me.
But except for that, I was rooting for them to do that since 2009. Finnaly a Monster vs Aliens tv Series.
What??? Where?!?
Looking for some stories?Susan's small again? But doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of the movie's ending?

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Hmm, I wasn't exactly hankering for a TV series, but I liked the movie well enough. I think I'll at least give this a look.
Maybe she can now change size at will? It would make interacting with the other characters easier.
yes, yes it does.
Arent they making like 5 movies for Kung Fu Panda and Dragons? The movie was funny as hell. Id have rather had a sequel than a series.
Didn't like the movie, and the animation in the trailers somehow looks worse than the previous Dreamworks shows. But, I wasn't a Turtles fan and I like the new show, so I shall reserve judgement until I see the show proper.
Wow.
They got LITERALLY.
NONE.
Of the original voice cast.
With the recent lay-offs and falling stocks, I doubt Dreamworks has even a tiny chance of making 5 Dragon movies and 5 Kung Fu Panda movies.

It will be great if he reprised that role!
On the Wiki page, it says James Patrick Stuart will voice... a "President Hathaway". ...... did the President even have a name in the movie?

Yeah. Hathaway.
It begiiins.
Did it air already?
Oh yeah, this premiered today, didn't it? Did anyone see it, and if so, was it any good?
... I saw it... and I don't know how to react to it.
Saw it to day. My opinions:
-They reused too many jokes from the film, in particular The President screaming like a girl. That got old PRETTY. FAST. However, they also used it as a Checkovs Gun which was unexpected, so I liked that. Not enough to make up for it though.
-Similarly, most of the humor was slapstick based. Again this is from the film, but I felt they abused it.
-On the other hand, I was surprised that the alien did not turn out to be evil... yet. And that the problems were other people's faults.
-Totally called it on Susan gaining the ability to change her size at will. It makes it easier for her to interact with characters and places. Though technically that makes her a superhero and not a monster, but whatever.
-It looks like we will have a whole regular team of alien enemies, possibly one for every Monster. That's great. I liked their designs, and some may not actually be evil. Wonder if Galaxar will ever return?
-The animation was *very good* I really liked it. The series opening theme, not so much.
-Despite not having any of the voice actors from the movie, everyone sounded pretty much the same.
-The story seems to be setting something up. That's good. It seemed to be filled with too many "and something ridiculous happens to character X" moments, though.
-What happened to the Giant Moth? I don't think they ever said.
Overall, I liked the episode, and I see potential for the series. Hopefully the few hiccups they had will be worked on as the series progresses. In particular they should NOT try to be like The Movie every single episode.

I really missed Insectosaurus, why is she not with the monsters?
Didn't like nor dislike the episode, I need to see more to know if the show is good os bad.
Oh, wow, the theme song was awful. And the way they repeated Mv A here and then, awful too.
The characters don't sound like their movie counterparts, sorry. Except for the General. He sounds pretty spot-on.
I also felt like they never stopped to take a breath. It just went by... so... damn... fast.
BUT the new alien guy was really fun! I liked his jokes... and his voice. Jeff Bennet, I love you!
So when's the next episode? I just checked schedule listings to see if maybe I could catch a repeat, and I'm not seeing anything at all.
April 6th.
Saw about 3/4ths of the premiere, and yeah, my thoughts of the promos ring true here. The animation is terrible, particularly on the human characters (which sucks because at least 3 of them are major characters.) Not Seth Rogan and Not Steve Colbert are obnoxious, when in the movie BOB was one of the characters I actually liked. I'll give it some time to grow, but right now its not promising.
So, from what you all said, the verdict is that you're gonna get more out of the show if you liked the movie in the first place? Hmm.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!
Recently announced by Nickelodeon, it will premiere on March 23rd. Here's some more info.
I'm excited for it, but only one question lingers in my mind: will the new voice actors do a good job... AND WHO WILL VOICE PRESIDENT COLBERT— I mean, Hathway?
