I don't think Tsukasa was the first seat at that point. The first time Kuga had a flashback about it, he explained that he was just the only Elite 10 member who would accept Kuga's challenge.
I also wonder why the four current second years were apparently hanging out together, since they don't seem to be friends and weren't in the Elite 10 together yet.

Well, it's not like Ryou and Hayama are friends, but they were hanging out together after the tournament.

They referred to him as the 1st seat multiple times in the flashback. While neither Fallen Angels nor Mangastream is perfect, I doubt they'd both make the same mistake, in the same places.

Because he grew up reading how Araki treated dogs and went "You know what, I can top this shit."
Also on a side note, I finally got around to reading Silver Spoon and I made it to the page that LSBK has as his avatar. Probably the funniest scene I've ever read in a manga.

And as for why the four of them were together when they don't really seem to like each other, the best hanging out with the best just seems to be a thing, and they're the best of their year.
... Kuga doesn't leave much of an impression either, so I totally understand Tsukasa there.
Vampire-senpai is going crazy. She's like the only one that's interesting this round.
To be fair, if it wasn't for Erina, you could probably say the same about this arc.
Ah, my mistake.

That's not saying much considering she's the focal point of this arc.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I don't have a problem with any of this because I like Kuga, even if it's obvious he's going to lose real bad. Not helped two of the people in the matches don't have any real focus before this.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I find enough interest in seeing how they all cook, even if the outcome seems for the most part very obvious.
I will confess I am actually curious to see how Rindou cooks. Especially given she seems to be particularly vampiric this chapter.
You have a point. Weird how in this arc, the parts with the Central are the weakest ones, mostly because Central itself is kinda weak antagonist.
I might have to skip the page where she kills that adorable baby croc...

Is crocodile the theme of the dish or just something she's doing on her own, I wonder? The reaction makes it seem like the latter, but they didn't explain to us what the former is supposed to be.

The crocodile is actually her sous chef.
The crocodile is the real Rindou. The human is a remote controlled robot.
So she's Mario?
So what changes would you guys have made to this arc to improve it overall? Personally, I would develop both Central and the Elite 10 more so this feels a bit more significant OR scale down the arc so that Azami is the only real antagonist and limit the focal characters to Soma, Jou, Erina, and the like since this arc is mostly centered on them.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.It seems like Sentai is moving most of their shows to Amazon on july 1.
No, why? Come on.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Shizuka Itou as Rindou? I'm sold!
That being said, I am just watching for Rindou. Finally getting to see her cook is the most interesting thing about the upcoming chapters.
Oh man, Shizuka Itou as Rindou. Delicious.
And as a bonus, the chapter is out early too.

Rindou's fangs are out of control. And why does the author seem to hate reptiles.
Megishima and Somei were surprisingly civil with each other, and now I'm curious on why the former became a rebel. It seems to be related to Soma though.
