Are you implying there's actually a chance that Isshiki and Megishima will lose?
It'd be pretty funny tbh.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.....
Huh. Didn't expect that.
Welp, now that Souma is out of the way, lets see what everyone else has.
One Strip! One Strip!Eh, we had Alice in glasses for a panel so it can't be all terrible.
Looking to upgrade to park bench. What if you don't like Alice?
<Alice Fans everywhere give him the stink eye>
...Not that I know anyone like that.

One Strip! One Strip! She's okay, but she's overshadowed by the likes of Erina and Hisako.
You mean better than them.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. They're all equally inferior to Rindo so it doesn't matter.
Alice will never be able to compete with Erina until she too masters the use of the laundry machine.
Because Alice is even more of a hopeless sheltered rich girl than Erina.
That can't be true because Alice's Dad isn't a prick like Erina's :V
Though he probably spoiled her...
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I'm hoping Isshiki loses here, but I probably shouldn't get my hopes up lol. I fully expect the Rebels to win the first round. And if Takumi, Megumi, and Subaru end up being the second round team, they're definitely going to be the falls guys.

I mean, all of them besides Erina and/or Soma are going down, without question. In the climax those are the only two who will matter.
Hero and Heroine privileges yo.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I'm still hoping Soma gets kicked out and Erina is left to sweep the remaining enemies.
It's funny how the soba specialist doesn't even know when and how to vary her soba. It's a wonder Nene got into the Elite Ten with that one-track follow-the-recipe mind. Oh wait, that's what Central is all about! Stupid plot is stupid.
Despite all that grumbling though, I actually did enjoy the chapter. Because lulz and Alice in glasses.
It'd be kind of unrealistic to expect Erina to beat all of the third years...
Then again, Soma beating all three second years is just as unrealistic.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Yeah the fact that Soba expert somehow didn't realize the effect of temperature on Soba is just contrived.
I mean, it's not like Soba, or even just traditional Japanese food, is all she can make. And she was in the Elite Ten before Aizama came around so it's not like you can attribute that to him.
Edit: Frankly I think Erina doing it all by herself would be even worse than Soma doing it all by himself. I don't think either is going to happen, so it doesn't matter much, though.

It's still pretty jarring that a self-proclaimed expert in Soba would overlook such a crucial detail.
But the series has acknowledged that most students at Tootski don't have much experience catering to the needs of people, so it's not even related to Azami or Central, although they kind of exaggerated the issue.
I guess it wouldn't be so bad if they didn't overly hype up the Elite 10 throughout the series as the biggest of badasses. It's just anticlimactic to build these guys up so much and then have one of them lose so handily. At their own specialty no less.
This match actually kind of makes me cautious on how the rest of them are gonna go down.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Chapter out: Thick is justice.
First of all: hahaha, that title.
Erina is still a cute tsundere.
That was the most... glamours foodgasm in a while.. Good job fodder-kun!
Not much more to say about the chapter, it was mostly explaining the dish.
Fodder kun gave us tits, he shall go down for an admirable cause.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. That chapter title.
Damn straight, Tosh. Damn straight.
I'm curious how the rest of this first round goes at least.
