Well, in that case, you happen to be wrong. I'm also interested in how Megumi and even Takumi are going to do. Subaru vs Eizan is also possibly of interest, if we get it. And, of course, Tsukasa and Rindou. Maybe Momo.

There are a lot of matches I'm interested in seeing. I'm merely noting that I don't think any of them really matter until Tsukasa and Rindou come out.

Seeing how this is going to be an obvious sweep for the Rebels, I am fairly certain they're going to get destroyed in the next round. Which means it's probably going to be Takumi, Megumi, and Subaru. Probably against Rindo, Eizan, and the fifth seat since we haven't seen him do any cooking yet.

I think Kuga will be going against Tsukasa next round for hype reasons. Not sure if Rindou will go then or not until the very end to keep her mysterious. I figure Megumi is more likely to go up against Momo, Takumi against 5th seat guy and Subaru vs Eizan. Not next round, necessarily, just eventually.

Well then my mistake, my apologies.

That makes a lot of sense actually, the matchups that is. It might be the next round though, just to save Erina for last and build her up.

I want to see that happen just so Subaru can trigger Eizan's rage faces.

I remember my last post here, I was thinking Nene was actually a threat. In truth it was because I was hoping for it and I jumped on it because I saw this plotline exactly coming when she was introduced. I was sincerely hoping that Isshiki wasn't stronger than her but my worst fear was realized. Actually it's even worse, Soma is going to breeze past her effortlessly and render her irrelevant even faster than Alice. Fucking Japan.

Well...you get to see her stripped at least....that's not actually helping is it.

It actually promotes the abolishing of preconceived gender roles by suggesting women should stay away from the kitchen.

Eh, the classic sexist thing is that women do home cooking for their families, but real chefs, who do it as both a profession and an art, are men. There's actually quite a lot of sexism in the real world of professional cooking, and women absolutely don't benefit from it. That's a real thing, so it feels like poor taste to joke about it.

True. I remember that being discussed in Ratatouille where Collette rants about how difficult it is for her, a woman, to be able to secure a job in the kitchen. Not to mention the fact that there hasn't been a single female 1st Seat-Elite 10 so far.

It wasnt said that there hasn't been a femae first seat; there have been few.

I assume he means we have yet to see any.

You just made me look it up, and I realized that every single female alumna we meet besides Jun (whose rank is unknown) and the girl who only appears in Jou/Gin's flashbacks was a 2nd seat.

I'll admit, the female judge's condescension had me cracking up.

She certainly enjoyed herself.

The funny part is that she seemed to sincerely feel sorry for Soma rather than simply mocking him lol.

And Nene went first, you may as well have just said she lost already...

I mean, they basically did last chapter.

I would laugh like hell if they praised Nene's dish for being amazing just like they pretty much obviously will and then take one bite of Souma's and go 'what the hell is this shit? You can't just randomly combine ingredients and hope it'll turn out well. It tastes horrible.'
