Jesus this thread is dead too often, I really would have assumed there would be more tropers who play Battlefield.
Oh well, at any rate it seems the weapons in Dragon's Teeth have been leaked, they include;
The Desert Eagle, in it's .44 Magnum form
The Mateba Autorevolver in .357 Magnum form
The SIG MPX submachine gun in .40 S&W
The Bulldog, some new bullpup assault rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO
The CS5 and it's integral suppressor.
Ballistic Shields
And an EOD bot with a 7.62x51 minigun and a pair of 3GLs tied to it, I shit you not.

Oh really when? They're desperate to chase after Call of Duty aren't they?
Who doesn't want those Call Of Duty numbers?
At least they tend to do things better. I enjoyed Domination more than any Call of Duty multiplayer.
Still, I don't like the lineup of these things so far, none of the weapons seem like things I really want.

Oh really when?Back To Basics DLC: AK Ms, Mosins, Brens and Thompsons.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!I would be totally cool with that.
But what I want most is my AN-94 back
Oh really when? No, the AK-12 has a 3 round burst at 750 rpm and the AN-94 had a 2 round burst at 1200 rpm.
Plus the recoil pattern is different and it's better and I just miss it.
Oh really when? That's very debatable. For one from what I understand the COD:Ghosts singleplayer while hardly the quality of the Modern Warfare or Black Ops games was a cut above the shite that was Battlefield 4. Though I have heard that Battlefield 4 does have a few more balanced maps.
But the current AAA crop is of very poor quality overall compared to the last one of Black Ops II, Battlefield 3 and Halo 4.
Some kind soul has hacked the game and uploaded a video of all the Dragon's Teeth gear in action
Most of it is eh but that Unica 6 reload tho
Have you folks seen the latest stuff that EA wants to do to fix the game?
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2014-05-09-ea-launches-battlefield-4-community-test-environment
http://gamerant.com/battlefield-4-improve-community-test-pc/
Pay umpteen dollars/pounds/rupees/septims to buy the game, and it's premium expansion, and you get to do unpaid tech support work on the PC version, fixing shit that we, EA, should have fixed before and yeah folks, this is a good deal for you PC gamers.
Aye, right. Anyone else think this is a completely stupid idea and the guys responsible for it should be sacked?
Not going to lie, at first I was all excited because I like beta tests and so on but then I realized I'm basically paying EA to be their guinea pig.
I really hate EA, I can only dream of what Battlefield 4 might have looked like without them pulling shit like this.
Oh really when?I think the gaming community kinda opened that Pandora's box on itself unfortunately. The idea behind Steam Greenlight and Early Access is almost identical, with the one big difference being that Steam does this with extremely early Alpha stage games and EA does this for games already released and future upcoming DLC. Hell, even the Kickstarter programs are somewhat similar in the sense that they require you to invest time and money on a possibly failable subject. And you don't hear Steam getting flak for the idea very often, do you?
The differences are a/ I never go for early access games, despite what deals are offered, b/ EA have charged over a hundred and twenty bucks for what is a fundamentally broken game on the PC when you add in all the so-called premium content, c/ when Steam get bitched at, they react fast to it and fix it.
And just because this kind of crap goes on elsewhere does not mean that EA can either get away with it Scott free OR avoid getting called on it. Jim Sterling has done a few videos that go into details as to why this kind of thing is shadier than triple canopy forest and I have to say I agree with him.
^ I hate to say it but You Tube videos does not a reason for EA to change make. They haven't been sued, or fined by regulators or really anything that would stop them.
I hate to disagree but even EA start noticing when they get nothing but bad publicity from folks like Sterling. He is not like us. He has power, high profile contacts and he tends to get people to do things for him. If you don't watch videos like his and others then you don't really have an idea of just how badly the industry wants to screw with you.
I archive binged all of the Jimquisition videos and I had my eyes open a bit wider as to what the more shady elements of the industry we like to buy products from is capable of.
Say, anyone here manage to actually get all the nice weapons from those gold assignments?
I'm still missing the UMP-9 because repairing shit is tedious
Oh really when?Missing the UMP 9 as well as the Sniper. The repairing requirement definitely shouldn't have been as high as the ammo and medkit requirements. It's just more difficult in every way imaginable. I think I've got 10 ribbons so far.
every little word and every little stepHuh, it seems like Dragon's Teeth might have a map set in Thailand...
Give me cute or give me...something?That sounds fun actually. Always wanted to play around in Best Korea.
Haven't done that since the first Mercenaries game or so.
Oh really when?^^ Ooh, interesting. BTW, the Thailand map seems to be taking place in Lumphini Park (as the map's name, Lumphini Garden) in Bangkok...I wonder how accurate it'll be...really tho, I want to see a map taking place in Sathorn (especially at Sathorn/Narathiwat intersection) or Siam (fighting into Siam Paragon/Central World would be rather awesome)...or the Royal Palace.
Also: wish we could get to fight in Ryugyong Hotel in North Korea map...

Give me cute or give me...something?A brief shot of a ballistic shield in Dragon's Teeth and an Abrams getting hit by a train.
More importantly, what the hell is that thing at the end with the Final Stand segment?
Was that a fucking minigun strapped into a rocket? Someone smarter than me get on this, surely that's not a thing.

Oh really when?Nope. It's not a thing. For one, with a gatling type weapon that actually is useful, you need tons of ammunition. There isn't enough room inside that thing for said tons of ammunition, plus propulsion rockets, plus rocket fuel, plus guidance hardware. For another, if it did exist in real life, we would have seen it plastered all over network news. Something that cool doesn't stay secret.
So my Origin just started to download Naval Strike, yay?
