Suggestion: Gray Rain Of Depression

Just a suggestion from me,but could this◊ be considered an improvement over the current one?

Lateral move for me.

It's more a matter of taste than anything else.

Both are equally okay in my eyes.

I like current more.

I like the suggestion more. Everything is droopy, his face, his fur, the plants. In the current the rain is barely visible and she's standing in the water. I feel more sorry for the character who's trying to avoid the water.

I was thinking about making a crowner earlier today.

I think the current one is better, as it's more symbolic. In the replacement, he's sitting out in an actual rainstorm.

I'll vote for the Emeror's New Groove; the quality is nicer and according to the description and Playing With pages, it can be either symbolic rain or just regular old rain, as long as it's used to show a character's sadness.

Voting for Kuzco over Raven because Raven just looks grouchy, while Kuzco looks truly miserable.

Seconding the Emperors New Groove suggestion. In the current on, she doesn't look all that depressed, and the two guys in the background kinda detract from the seriousness of the image.

I do prefer the suggestion...but I don't know, I don't exactly like it when we open up Image Pickins' for already good images and replace them unless the new one is stand-out better. It just seems like it'll be an endless cycle of changing great images, and considering the forum limits on new threads.

According to the vote being at 8 to 0 we're not changing a great image. Any improvement is a good thing. There's no need to worry about the the forum limit as we're at 69 out of 100 threads and this should be ready to close very soon.

We're getting some good stuff for Image Links, though.

The girl in the rain is decent but not better than the Kuzco pic, at least for me.

@lexicon: Great image is probably an exaggeration, but I think perfectly serviceable works. This is a borderline example—I do agree he does look sadder, but the other image looking sad is good enough. It just feels so nitpicky to bring I Ps for good images, which I see happen.

That said, I voted for the new one because so long as the thread is open, I might as well.
