I like Sunset's new outfit, I wonder if this means we'll get new "standard" outfits for all the girls in Friendship Games. That'd be a nice change to help keep things fresh, especially since this is suppose to be a fashion toyline. Also, fire wings! Wonder if this is something of lead-in to the "Time to Shine" novel...

Also also, zapping people with new outfits & hairstyles; worse superpower or best superpower?

Really like Sunset's video out of the three. Was just all tingly with it. The one about the different periods took a moment getting used to.

I'm not really feeling the Rarity solo, but I liked the other two. The Sunset one was awesome, and I couldn't help but think of "Let it Go" while listening to it.

I'm a little bit iffy on Life is a Runway on its own, as well, but I think the video with it is enough to make it pretty neat, especially with the ending.

My Past is Not Today left me grinning. I may be a sucker for Sunset these days, though. >.>

I also couldn't help but notice that Sunset is riding a horse in Friendship Through the Ages. That's gotta be a weird feeling for her.

She seems pretty chill on top of that horse. Maybe she's gotten used to seeing equines in this world by now? She's been there for a while now. One wonders what happens when a horse walks through the portal though...

Also, someone already has a cosplay of the new Sunset outfit. Ah, this fandom...

True. Maybe it's more of a "not as weird if she doesn't think about it" kind of deal.

As for a horse entering the portal... maybe it would turn into a big, hairy primate?

I wish that wasn't such a bad photo. It only shows off like 20% of the actual cosplay (assuming she did the full outfit).

I would think the horse would look more like an FIM pony.

I was thinking more of the regular types of ponies we see in the show.

That would definitely be a bit jarring and made me wonder even more just what Sunset is thinking while riding that pony.

Hehe, I'm not as amused by the minimal reversal because I'm too distracted by how adorable Sunset it.

I think it's a sign of how worn out FiM is getting for me that none of the new music videos did anything for me. "My Past is Not Today" was way too corny, "Life is a Runway" was boring, and "Friendship Through the Ages" was like a shorter/duller version of the "Dani California" video.

Definitely missing the same warm fuzziness that "Smile Smile Smile" gave me the first time I saw it.

"Music to My Ears" is probably the only Rainbow Rocks short I still like, mostly because of the Tommy vibe it has.

I liked the Dazzelings songs (and the song that accompanies the last one), but the rest were preety meh to me

The more I listen to the soundtrack, the more I like most of the songs. Except for Trixie's, which I skip almost every time now because I find Trixie pretty 'meh', and Music to My Ears, which I skip every time because after the first few times, it's more like Driving a Scalpel Through My Ears.

Only one I didn't like was Awesome as I wanna be because by that point, I was sick and tired of Dash being an egotistical asshole.

For the interested, clearer pictures of the Archery dolls and their boxes have been revealed.

Its a shame the boxes don't really tell you anything about the characters, unless "Practice proper form!" is suppose to mean Sour Sweet is some kind of prim & proper type. If I'm not mistaken the Monster High dolls give some info and even a diary entry on the back of their boxes. Sometimes, I wonder what exactly Hasbro is prioritizing when it comes to their toys...

Those may be international boxes, which often sacrifice more information in English for the same exact info in other languages. Monster High actually does the same thing. The ones sold in US stores generally have more info.

Also, Hasbro is busy prioritizing their Disney dolls so they can rub it in Mattel's faces, apparently.

Fingers crossed for Sour Sweet to have an English accent.

I got to say my favorite part of Rainbow Rocks is when our heroes win by blasting the Dazzlings with an album cover.

So how common is the (literal) Battle of the Bands thing? Did Scott Pilgrim make it up?
