Majestic's sudden appearance didn't go unnoticed as Kara gave the big sigh of relieve that would make anyone in front of her feel as breeze was coming their way. Kara ran behind his back to hug him very tightly—her face touching his back— even without considering her superstrenght.

"Cous, I thought you were... you were— kidnapped, or worse by Zod. I am so glad you are alright!"

Business District

By the time the group from the lab had reached the surface, they were greeted with widespread chaos and fighting. A lot of super powered beings were going toe-to-toe, and the gaseous girl recognized several of them as the people she rescued from the pods. Guilt started to well up in her chest as she saw the destruction and how brutal some of the fighting was getting. She didn't know what she could do though. Hiding behind a wall, all she could think to do was watch.

Sandy squeezed the remaining water out of her sand-form, looked at the beaten Aquamaria, smiled smugly and said "Hey, someone come up with a barrel or some other way to contain her."

Then she noticed Majestic had arrived safely! She felt reassured, but wondered what happened with Zod.

Before asking him, however, she went over to check if Robbie (Trace Metal) was OK. He was just a little tired.

As soon as the real Loki revealed himself, Faiza charged and swung Excalibur, knocking the trident away with the sword before turning and delivering a powerful uppercut.

"Little you was much less annoying."

This world's Loki was very different to hers but it was Loki so an out-of-context comparison felt appropriate.

"Why don't you just take your delusions of grandeur and run back to your world tree?"

...And then a bunch of the bang babies disappeared.

"I mean... that's fine."

Clearly slashing through the copies was not working, and the fact they were so similar in every way despite being holograms, right down to smell was not helping matters. He then revealed just when he was going to stab Daredevil, but a newcomer managed to make the save. Oddly, she immediately recognize his as......

"Loki!" the mutant called out to the God. "Where's Thor?! His hammer told me everything!"

Business District

"Ow, cut- ow! Cut that out!" Wondergirl grit her teeth as Spiderwoman's struggles sent several painful cracks through her hand. The giant girl enlarged her hands again, clapping the other one around he villainess as well and holding on tight, doing her best to pin her arms to her torso and cut off her leverage.

She registered that most of the Bang Babies had disappeared, although there was still some fighting going on further down the street, and the smooth-talking asshole was unfortunately still a thing. "Hey, can I get some help over here?"

Majestic turned around to ruffle his cousin's hair, hugging her close.

"I'm all right, Kara." He lied. "You don't have to worry about me." Conspicuously, he didn't acknowledge Zod one way or the other. Spider-Woman gasped in Wonder Girl's grip, spasming ineffectually. Loki held up his hands defensively when Faiza disarmed him, pouting.

"Now, this is hardly fair." He bemoaned. "I'm unarmed." Ice burst from his upraised arms to blast at Faiza. "Oh, wait. I forgot. Frost Giant." He turned to face Wolverine, dusting off his hands. "Oh, my brother? He should be thanking me. I just tried to help him get back to his roots."

Meanwhile, Manta had similarly disarmed Aquaman, pointing his barbed harpoon at Arthur's throat.

"Yield, Aquaman." He demanded. "Yield, so that Atlantis will be mine." Aquaman bowed his head, before a burst of water caught Black Manta in the back. The water from the fire hydrant swirled into Aquaman's hands in the form of two swords as hard as steel.

"You will never rule Atlantis!" Aquaman insisted as he charged at Manta. "You will be taken back and tried for your crimes! Attempted Infanticide! Attempted Regicide! Inciting riot and revolt!" Manta tried to fight back with stabs of his harpoon.

"When they sing of my rise as King of Atlantis, those will be seen as necessary evils! The The first blows taken against a mad king!" Manta shot beams from his eyes, but Aquaman refracted them through his water swords, causing an explosion that sent Manta's harpoon flying and dissolved the swords.

"The only place you will ever be King is in your dreams!" Aquaman said, balling his fist. "So let me grant you your victory!" And with that, he connected with a powerful punch to Manta's jaw that sent him flying, landing unconscious in the street.

"So what, you turned him into a plant? Blasted him back to Asgard? Turned him into a plant after blasting him back to Asgard?" Wolverine asked Loki. "I'm not very patient when it comes to mind games!" He then lunged at Loki, claws first.

Loki spun to the side to avoid Wolverine's charge, chuckling to himself.

"I can see why Thor would keep such similar company to himself." He said, willing his trident back into his hand. "And really, what would be the fun of just telling you what I did with him?" He gave a shrug. "I will give you a hint, though. He is still Thor, and he is still on your planet. I am slightly more clever than that."

"That's all I need to know," Wolverine said going into a stance, waiting for Loki to do the first move. "On a different topic, what's the God of Mischief doing working for HIVE? You can't be that bored can you?"

Loki shrugged, twirling his trident.

"I tried being good. It's far more tedious than being wicked. I don't know how the majority of Asgard does it. That's why I like being here on Earth. Half the people here are worse than me." He went for a feint with his trident, then launched a knife out of his sleeve.

Wolverine blocked for the feint, but then managed to deflect the incoming flung knife, followed up by slashing stab aimed for the God's stomach.

Starfire

After Ebon and... the ally left, Starfire flew to see who needed the most help... Which was Wonder Girl who was struggling to keep Spider-Woman held.

"I shall help you, Miss," Starfire said as she flew over to the held Spider-Woman and attempted to merely knock her out with a blow to the neck. She hoped it would work to free up Wonder Girl to help.

As Sandy helped Trace back to his feet, he pointed at Loki, and struggled to say: "Magic... user. Must... speak, gesture..."

"Got it" Sandy said. After making sure he wasn't going to fall down again, she let go of her partner and once again turned into a wave of living sand, hoping to sneak on Loki from behind and envelope him in her body.

After hugging Majestic, Kara was a bit relieved at him being, physically better. However his eyes betrayed that something was bothering him. "Was it a good idea to ask him? she wondered to herself. He didn't seem to want to talk about it right now and they were still in the middle of a battlefield. With him just recovering, Asking again just didn't seem right.

"I'll go help the others, If you need someone to talk you can trust me, that's what family is about after all, to share that weight in your shoulders," she told Majestic with a timid smile. "What did Zod do to him?" she wondered to herself as she flew towards the fight.

Spotting loki she went flying straight to the Asgardian to try to punch Loki in his stomach, before Sandy enveloped him.

Loki dropped the trident to entangle Wolverine's claws and whipped him into Miss Majestic as she flew to attack him, then leaped back to dodge Sandy's wave.

Spider-Woman, on the other hand, had her last conscious thought be "This is so undignified''.

The girl made of gas watched as slowly the fights seemed to be wrapping up. The people who she guessed were good, since they were on the game side as the three from down below, were coming out on top. One man did seem to be giving them some trouble. With a deep breath and a "Here goes nothing" she lost her shape and became a cloud. The cloud then flew over to envelop Loki's head, completely robbing him of his vision of the others.

Faiza spun her sword as Loki launched his attack, smashing the ice into harmless pieces.

"I didn't."

Her world's Loki hadn't had that power but she knew of his heritage. She recovered as the others launched their attacks and then deftly stepped in as his vision was obscured, slashing at his legs.

Kitty nodded and smiled as Kara was reunited with...her cousin, she thought. There was still fighting, but...she couldn't do anything about it. She needed to get better.

Kitty turned to leave the Business District and get home - her parents would probably be wondering where she was by now, and she really wanted to test this superhero thing out.

Daredevil's world froze when he felt Loki suddenly appear behind him. He had been too careless, too foolish, that was why he had lost control of the situation. Twisting his body to the side in an attempt to redirect Loki's attack- instead of killing him, it would severely injure his arm and God knows what else.

Muttering a silent prayer, Daredevil let out a sigh of relief when he saw Loki being punched away. His body still in mid-air, he waited until his feet reached the floor to jump away. Connecting both billy clubs, he activated the cable in between them, extending it to an acceptable length before swinging it over his head and hurling it forward, trying to conk Loki right in the head.

"Irradiated? Now that's just mean—" Red She-Hulk complained before she felt the other She-Hulk grasping her from behind, trying to bring her down in a pitiful attempt at wrestling. "I follow the path with the best opportunities! And you?" She grabbed She-Hulk by the back of her uniform, grinning. "You're just standing in my way." She whispered, before trying to throw She-Hulk over her head and at Aquaman.

Impulse was quite peeved that his classic attempt at pantsing had been avoided, but now that there was only one Loki, he knew what he had to do. Time slowed down for him as he ran to the other side of the city, to one of his favorite bakeries, and stole a pie from the kitchen. Holding it protectively, he ran right back to the battle, before taking position and sending the pie flying right at Loki's face. "That'll show you!"

The Flash wheezed as he got back on his feet. "You never know, she might be on our side, trying to get in as a double age— oh man, I think she broke one of my ribs." He groaned, the grin disappeared as he held onto the wall for support.

Loki was blinded by the strange cloud of smoke that enveloped him, but still felt Excalibur bite into his leg, leaping awkwardly to avoid it. Then the billy club thwacked him in the head, and the pie caught him in the face on the way down. Loki lay on the ground, blinking in confusion, unable to believe that what had just happened...had happened.

"That's quite enough for today." He muttered, snapping his fingers. He, Black Manta, and Spider-Woman evaporated in a dazzle of golden light. Aquaman was so perturbed by his sworn foe escaping justice that he barely had time to catch She-Hulk, stopping her from making a ridiculous crash.

"Do you require assistance, my lady?" He asked, setting her down. She-Hulk smirked at him, grabbing him by the shoulder.

"Sure thing, Goldfish. Grab your tuning fork." Then she picked him up overhead, and threw him at Red She-Hulk as hard as she could. With trident facing forward, Aquaman became a blur, a green-and-orange, lethal-if-utterly-befuddled torpedo.

The gray hand that was holding Katana tossed her out of the alley and into the street. It was then that the creature whom that arm belonged to walked out into the street. A nightmarish figure, with gray, rock-like skin. Cracks under the skin showed the red muscle underneath, with red, glowing eyes and horrible, blocky-teeth. Tatters of human flesh hung off him like cobwebs, and a single tuft of brown hair fell to the pavement.

"Better let me handle this one." Majestic said, to Flash as much as the rest of the team. He walked toward the beast, which roared wordlessly at him. "I have a funny feeling you're the guy who experimented on me." He growled, which was good enough of a yes for Majestic. He cocked back a fist and punched the former Dr. Desmond up into the sky, following him up with successive punches until they were both specks.

Wolverine managing to lock onto Loki's trident was distraction enough for all the other heroes to whoop the God's ass. The look on the jerk's face after getting hit by that pie was enough for the mutant to forget that he, along with his probable HIVE compatriots, managing to escape.

As well as all the hostile Bang Babies, now that he realized. That was when Katana was thrown out of the alleyway and out come Dr. Desmond, now thoroughly mutated into some sort of gray hulking thing with exposed muscle. He decided to let majestic get some payback while he ran over to Katan to check if she was alright.

"Is anything broken?" he calmly asked as he propped her up.

Harbor

Hoo boy, that's a- that sure is a core of pure palladium. Okay, yes. Right, time to get that thing contained.

Steel began to disconnected the storage unit for the core and, once done, placed the palladium back inside and sealed it shot. With its power source outside of it, Steel began to reassemble the machine, making sure he had all the part, before he tossed it over his shoulder.

With the power source still in hand, his suit unfolded all of its jetpack bits and then blasted off.

"Goddamnit— where the hell did they go?!" Red She-Hulk asked out loud, trying to spot Black Manta before noticing Impulse, waving at her. She raised an eyebrow... and then promptly got stabbed in the back by the fastball and trident special. Of course, due to how resistant she was, the trident didn't stab her that deep, but it was still enough to throw her against the ground, knocking her unconscious.

"Sure, don't... don't let me stop you." The Flash told Majestic as he focused on speeding up his healing.
