What is the difference between this trope and Most Definitely Not a Villain? Is it that it's aliens impersonating humans?

Please read the descriptions. Both if these tropes have clear definitions within the first few lines.

Hugh Mann: "Someone has gotten duplicated/taken over/impersonated by something not human, and the duplicate is trying to pass as a main character. But they do a terrible job of it... Luckily for them, nobody notices at all. Or at least nobody anyone will listen to"

Most Definitely Not a Villain: "A character is put into a position ...where they must impersonate someone or pretend to be a member of a particular group. The character, instead of simply acting like an X, attempts to do this by constantly announcing they are an X, that they're doing things because that's what an X does, and there is not the slightest chance that they could ever not be an X. Did they mention they're an X?... [I]ts effectiveness as a disguise depends on whether it would be funnier for the impostor to get caught or not."

They are similar, but not duplicates.
