Prinzenick@ and Maxwellelvis@ I hate that philosophy. I'm tired of all the teens getting into "dark and edgy" stuff that offers almost no value of entertainment. Comedy is always good.
I like darker stuff. But I hate most satire, because all it is is a political cartoon extended by 80 minutes.
You wanna see dark, 'satirical', think-at-night type films? Watch Graveof The Fire Flies. Its set in WWII era Japan, and it is very White and Grey. Its also an anime.
The movie involves two little kids getting to hear their parents get killed horribly, and then they starve. No happy after endings, no comedy, just a little girl and her brother getting hearbroken, and realistic concepts.

The world isn't ready for giant T4 combustion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GbpGiYmBSs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKm9I didnt know Grave of the Fireflies was Satirical...
At the very least, its a example of how utterly screwed normal people can be in times of war.

Cars2 wasn't their only fumble. Cars, Tangled, and even A Bugs Life were all pretty average films IMO.

...Tangled wasn't Pixar.
Pixar didn't make Tangled.

I don't believe in true art. That is in the heart of the beholder. Toy Story 1-3 comes close to it, though. Very much the same theme as this thread.
Brave and Wallie were also hit and miss.
But I loved A Bugs Life, purely for characters and comedy. Its underrated for a reason, though.

While I didn't completely agree with his views, I thought Doug Walker's views of the Pixar films were interesting...sure on one hand he compared near all of them to Toy Story though his favorite film is actually Up, but it sort of gave a more realistic view of them, rather then "untouchable masterpieces". In that sense I appreciated them.
I treat all living things equally. That is to say, I eat all living thingsMakes sense, Toy Story is their first full hour film.
And honestly, its one of those films that has better sequels then the original.
But Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc will always remain my favorite. Toy Story 3 comes close, though.

I don't think its shine has worn off, completely.
However, Disney channel is almost completely engulfed in dumb jokes and bland characters.
The world isn't ready for giant T4 combustion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GbpGiYmBSs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lKm9I agree that Disney has somewhat lost its touch. Nothing they've really done in the past few years has impressed me all that much (The Princess And The Frog was okay, and Pixar's Up was really good, but not much else).
“Imagination is more important than knowledge." -Albert EinsteinWreck It Ralph was good. Pixar has also made some good ones in the past few years.

That looks more Pixar's speed.
The last hurrah? Nah, I'd do it again.
