Aside from the problem of deciphering the screenshot, there isn't really any information about why it's more difficult or why it should be a sequel.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Cloud enemy tells me it's a difficult one, considering how clouds tend to be high up, and with the main difficulty in platformers being falling down, "cloud difficulty" isn't exactly on the easy side...
That said, anyone have an actual suggestion?

Honestly, this picture doesn't look all that difficult, and besides, the part about it being a sequel is relegated to the caption - never a good thing in images.
Dunno what series to put this under, but I'd suggest a comparison image of the two games.
