If there were no evidence one way or the other, I would guess she can asphyxiate the same way as anyone else if someone managed to create a situtation which would lead to that.
But the amount of flying she's been doing at high altitude indicates otherwise: most people need oxygen tanks to climb Mt. Everest, for example. Even shorter mountains commonly cause altitude sickness. Allison's been pretty high in the air, for a while, engaging in vigorous exercise, and it hasn't affected her ability to breathe.

Raises questions about whether superhero flying requires physical effort, and in what way? Or would it be more a mental thing, like self-telekinesis?
... I can't actually think of any media that address this. Huh. You don't often encounter a superhero who is too physically exhausted to fly, unless they've literally had power drained out of them.
3DS Friend Code: 0018-0767-4231Whoa! Nice application of misdirection! Now, what does she have in store for Allison down there?
Wait, what? I dont remember him raping anybody?
Correct. We've been going over that in this thread: Because he's defending rapists (because he thinks the girls "were asking for it" or just lying), Moonshadow assumes he's a rapist himself. It's possible, but we've seen no evidence of it, so right now all it does is paint her vigilante justice in a worse light. Which is probably the point. Her story is very much about the whole slippery slope thing.
OK, thought I missed something there for a minute. So how is this going to end? Is Moonshadow going to force Allison to kill her? Is Allison going to try to capture her?
Subverting Allison's Sue-like qualities, hard.
What a time to wake up! He'd be better off just playing possum. Also, Moonshadow in the lower left of panel six.
Furnace will turn out to have the ability to sense heat (which is in line with how other supers in this universe have their powers evolving, but haven't shared that information), and therefore will have little trouble locating Moonshadow despite her illusions once he starts using it. Of course, he can't readily zap her with the explosives on him, but if he can point her out to Allison...
I find it a little odd that Allison's affected to this extent by the electricity. If she's this vulnerable (it might not kill her perhaps, but it's certainly incapacitating her) then surely supervillains would be eager to use it against her...and the fact that Moonshadow failed to cut her throat earlier means that Allison's invulnerability has already returned by now, so it's not related to her temporary loss of invulnerability earlier. (Unless perhaps it's only partially returned...)
Though speaking of Allison's power shifts...I figure someone's probably already mentioned it already, but could it be that her true power is forcefield generation? Which previously granted her Nigh-Invulnerability, perhaps on instinct; but she's now able to use it more flexibly to achieve flight. It would also explain why Patrick was pushed away when her power upgraded...
(Forcefield generation could also be used to realise her Super-Strength, if they can be moved around and apply large forces in doing so. Admittedly it's a power that could be used to simulate a lot of other effects with enough creativity...)
It's been noted that most of Superman's powers can be simulated by tactile telekinesis. Invulnerability? He holds himself together with telekinesis. Super strength? Lifts things he's touching with telekinesis, also holds them together a bit. Eye beams? Excites the molecules. Freeze breath? Slows the molecules down.
So it could be something like that.
Plus, I think she hurt herself, so it wasnt necessarily a change in her level of protection, at least with respect to anyone else.
The force-field thing is definitely consistent with the doctor's comments about resisting most forms of radiation, and also with the resistance being selective. Didn't she also say that tissue detached from Allison's body (e.g. hair) displayed no unusual/resistant properties?
3DS Friend Code: 0018-0767-4231To quote a certain boss from World of Warcraft: Who can you trust? The enemy...is among you.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Damn Illusionists.
Interesting that Moodshadow felt she had to save Furnace. Hilarious that he almost blew himself up.

I think she's trying to manipulate Furnace into attacking Allison, or rather, manipulate Allison into killing Furnace.
Side note: Furnace basically turns his body into fire, yeah? So, would he die if you dropped him in water in that state?
3DS Friend Code: 0018-0767-4231Oh, she sees Furnace as a possible weapon against Allison? I hadn't thought of that.
I think that if Furnace gets dropped into this water, it wont do him any good. It's still conducting electricity from the broken power main!
Perils of a static visual medium, it really bugs me that Allison's mouth is closed in the last panel despite speaking.
I see white teeth. He just draws her differently.
What bugs me is that Allison gets to solve the Moonshadow situation so easily.
Well, people have to open and close their mouths to talk, so presumably the panel is just a "freeze frame" of a moment where Alison's mouth is closed during the process of forming a sound.

I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Ah. Now that I look closer, I do see the teeth. The lack of outline below had me thinking that was just a highlight under a somewhat cartoonish frown. It is one of those oddities of the cartoon medium, that the mouth pretty much has to be open on the panel where they're speaking so that it doesn't look like they're suddenly going psychic (doesn't help that the speech bubble looks like it's coming out of her abdomen...)
So it looks like either she regains her original powerset rapidly once she stops flying, or her superstrength and invulnerability powers are separate.
The first few panels again raise the question - is she vulnerable to suffocation?
