they were quietly picked up by Garnet and thrown into the room with lava in the Gem temple
New theme music also a boxNow I'm just picturing a seagull picking them up and attempting to walk with them, or a hermit crab wearing one as its shell.
I bet Peridot could make a new pair but when she tries them on she feels like shes outgrown the need for them
New theme music also a boxJust an FYI: Deadline has announced that Rebecca Sugar is co writing an animated fantasy movie with Matt Braly at Sony Animation:

The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.I have to praise Steven Universe for something most people dont think twice about: The way it handles kid friendly combat. Sure the battles are praised but most people dont realize how hard it is to do combat that is awesome but also kid appropiate. Power Rangers had lots of trouble getting that right and Pretty Cure also excels at it.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.define 'kid friendly'
New theme music also a boxAs in no brutality or anything too adult. I know my explanation sucks. In Power Rangers some fights had to be reshot because the Sentai scenes went too far. Not to mention making original fights to fill some gaps.

Going to point out that Future made it explicit that Steven broke his bones a whole lot, but his insane healing powers repaired all the damage almost instantly.
as that x ray painfully showed
New theme music also a boxI know. I was going to mention Future was the exception to the brutality thing but realized even that was kid friendly in a way kids could chew and digest it still.

Steven dislikes Kevin but not enough to try to hurt him, even while Pink.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite. He would probably snap and yell some very hurtful things at him.
What about Marty? What about the one jerk who he gave another chance to and totally blew it for personal gain?
If we're talking about the Pink Steven that manifested when separated from Steven:
Pink Steven would only get mad if these people got in his way of reuniting with Steven. Pink Steven doesn't really have much to his identity since he's just his gem's emergency response to being separated from Steven. All Pink Steven cares about is getting back to his body asap.
If we're talking about Steven in Future when he glows pink:
Steven glowing pink like that is him giving into all of his frustration he's been repressing for years. He's incredibly likely to hurt whoever is pissing him off enough to make him glow.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI love the touch that, when Kevin and Marty each make their return appearances, Steven's response is to use their own body to try and shield Greg, shouting, "I'll protect you, Dad!" Steven buys into Jerks Are Worse Than Villains so thoroughly, they assume these guys must be some sort of physical danger.
"It takes an idiot to do cool things, that's why it's cool" - Haruhara HarukoAnyone think The Test's ending where Steven chooses to pretend to not know about the Crystal Gems rigging the simulation comes off as sadder in light of knowing how Future shows the consequences of him repressing his own feelings and putting on a brave face for the others? Like, is it possible that The Test may have helped start Steven's mental problems with repressing his own emotions in front of everyone?
It may have been.

or at the temple with the moon goddess statue?
New theme music also a boxOh 100%, I fully believe this is where it started. Or at least severely encouraged it.

Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.HES GOING TO MILK STEVEN UNIVERSE!
New theme music also a boxConsidering the ending of The Test is when Steven began repressing his own emotions to be a Living Emotional Crutch which becomes a huge problem by the time of Future, what would've happened if Steven had told the truth to the Crystal Gems about knowing they rigged the room and overhearing their conversation? Would he have been more mentally healthy or still have repressing emotion problems in Future?
After 7 years, Peridot's limb enhancers have not been found. Do you all think anyone ever found Peridot's limb enhancers wash up on shore at any point?
