I don't think they'll have a gem type whose namesake is (so obviously) a real person or place, else they'd risk some really blatant Orphaned Etymology. Holly Blue Agate is already pushing it (and even in that was spelled differently).

I think that the argument that they wouldn't use a gem so obviously named after a location would have been stronger if you didn't then name a gem very blatantly named after a location (given that, in the real world, Holley blue agate really is only found near Holley, Oregon). For that matter, if naming a gem after a gem named after real people was verboten in Steven Universe, the fusion of Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl would not be named Alexandrite. And while maybe not as prominent, nor would the Garnet/Amethyst fusion be named Sugilite (named after its discoverer, Dr. Ken-ichi Sugi).
This is why I've always ran with the headcanon that there are Translator Microbes involved - gems are just using their own names for them, and we're just hearing what they'd be translated as. Consequently, this does have me wondering if we'll one day run across a gem type that's based off of a theoretical real-world gemstone.

The Zircons were bubbled? Huh... I'm not terribly surprised about Defense Zircon getting bubbled, since it appears she started stumbling towards a truth Yellow Diamond didn't want out. Prosecution Zircon is a bit more of a surprise; I didn't know YD would be that zealous in keeping things under wraps.
