"Wait, 'Chesty' sounds really inappropriate but this kind of reminds me of Snow White so let's go with 'Doc'."

I figured it was both as well.
Are Rose Quartz's healing/ressurection powers specific to her?
They used Steven's ability to heal Eyeball as proof that he was Rose, or can all Roses do that and they just used the fact that 'she' came from Earth as proof that it was the one they were looking for?
Your momma's so dumb she thinks oral sex means talking dirty. It should probably be interpreted that all other Rose Quartz were rounded up immediately after Rosey started the rebellion.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Who knows? So little is known about Rose Quartz as a type that I don't think one could extrapolate much of anything out of what Crystal Gem Rose Quartz could do.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I mean, it's quite probable that most of her abilities were innate to her being a Rose Quartz, considering the abilities of other kinds of gems, like Sapphires being able to see the future, Amethysts being able to do a Rolling Attack, and Pearls standing around and holding your stuff for you.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseThe part of the "Peace and Love" demo where Sugar was voicing both sides of Steven and Peridot's conversation was freaking surreal.
my immediate reaction to learning that 'Dewey wins' was in fact Off colours airing instead

New theme music also a boxStill doesn't explain how the episode title was leaked by the person who always leaks new episode titles but okay.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Current speculation is that they were going to air the new episode, but pulled it at the last minute (presumably, once someone in charge realized that the episode(s) before it hadn't actually aired yet).

Huh. If that's true than CN just stopped a leak for once.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Or that the schedule was official (i.e. made by someone with legitimate access to future episode information), it just happened to be wrong from the beginning.

> Huh. If that's true than CN just stopped a leak for once.
They probably stopped it this time because everyone was talking about it,I want to believe whatever is happening in Reunion is so major,so spoilery that they had to act this time, just to preserve a major plot reveal
there were jokes all over reddit about Jasper just casually chilling in the background
New theme music also a boxWe don't even know if "Reunion" is the next episode. "Dewey Wins" could even come first (intentionally).
That's entirely possible, still it's funny to me that a Townie episode could blow all their major twists in one episode..
New theme music also a boxOkay, I know that the Great Diamond Authority are the Gem Matriarchs, but, due to my considerable lack of knowledge of just how a matriarchal society works (aside from the obvious factoid that it's the women who are the real dominant ones within it), I'm not entirely sure of what that's supposed to mean exactly.
I mean, does this mean that the Diamonds are the what we on Earth would call a group of Queens or Empresses, or is there another political equivalent that they can be compared to? I'm just not sure, I mean, calling them monarchs just doesn't feel right or appropriate for some strange reason.
Has the show ever used the title "Gem Matriarch"?
In any case, the position doesn't appear to be hereditary (as Pink Diamond has not been replaced), nor have anything to do with divine right, so I don't think it can be considered a monarchy. They seem to be more co-dictators than anything.

Oh God! Natural light!Peridot used the term "Matriarch" at one point. I believe the reasoning was that the diamonds are the de facto "ancestors" of the Gem race. Given that they created the first batch of non-diamonds.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Peridot used the term 'Gem matriarchs' as I recall
>, or is there another political equivalent that they can be compared to?
Not really, there are however examples of animals being led by one, elephants herds have a Matriarch that leads the herd and is useally the oldest female
You could also use ants as example, all their workers are female(there are males but they don't do much) and they are led by a Queen, same with bees too

New theme music also a boxAlso, having a matriarch doesn't make an organization a matriarchy. An individual being a matriarch means she is the (or just a) leader of some sort of family or ethnic group, whether or not being female was a requirement. It's might also be used in a metaphorical sense to refer to any female leader (the same as "patriarch" for any male leader).

I stand corrected then, the name is seriously misleading

New theme music also a box"Communal egg sac" was more of a mouthful. You can call them "gynes" instead, but that technically refers to their whole caste, even the ones that never become fertile.
Those are not mutually exclusive.
