"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeThey traveled in big spaceships and found Earth.
Or maybe they looked through big telescopes and found it.
Or maybe Lapis Lazulis really are scouts, what with flying through space and one of them found it.
We don't know but it doesn't seem over important.
Aliens are always finding Earth.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThey've lived for forever, it doesn't matter how they found it...they were gonna find it eventually.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Christ, thinking about it
The gem empire must have exterminated countless other races for their empire
Earth is lucky in that regard
New theme music also a boxWell if the moonbase murals represent the Gem empire correctly, we know exactly how many planets they had when they were setting up shop on Earth
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThey may have added more since then

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.One of the problems with being a war like civ is that either you expand too quickly and run out of resources or you end up against someone who just as bloodthirsty as you, resulting in a losing war
The first seems to have happened, thanks to resistance

New theme music also a boxIf nothing else, the Crystal Gems cost Homeworld valuable soldiers and resources.
I mean, for as large as the Gempire is, it doesn't seem like millions of Gems are made on a planet. Tens of thousands perhaps. They seem to take thousands of years to incubate and we don't know just how much life energy it takes to birth one.
Assuming the Rare Earth principle, there's a few dozen colonies across more than one galaxy, which sounds about right.
So~ I've been thinking a bit a straining my brain and I think maybe I have an guess as to how Gems can be healed from corruption.
So I've been reading Loreweaver Universe's trumblr And their comment on Jasper snarling at Sapphire's singing made me think back to Monster Reunion and Steven describing the corruption from the Diamonds as a song. It kinda hit me and now I can't stop thinking about it.
Steven need to sing a Song of Healing to heal corrupted Gems.
Also hi~!
♪ Here we go! Sequel~! ♪ Planet Wisp is my husband~. ♥ Self declared Cloud Cuckoo Lander of the Sonic ForumA really spitty song of healing.
Those 2 things are not related at the momentum...
A song with lyrics vs. a song without lyrics...if music saves the day.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.But it could be, I mean music have been a constant in SU, and not only in Diamond big fuck you to Rose but in order stuff like Jasper anti gem weaponry.
think about this way random, Music is important to SU as Color to RWBY.
Anyway, in no revelant news, my girlfriend saw minfull education and started to cry with Garnet song, saying it was really touching, it was in that moment when I saw how imporant this series can be for some.
The other thing is that since my girlfriend study music, she said YD theme is based in one note repeting itself in diferent ways, it make me think it reflect the monotomy of Homeworld and what it represent
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"So I may not be cut out to be a fan of this show.
I have to try really hard to start watching again and for the past month I'm not able to advance this show past "Lion 2" (or ~1-2 episodes after that).
I feel like I keep putting it off as I didn't end up caring about the gem war and backstory at all, which is unfortunately the show's main topic, and they're building that up for Jailbreak by the episodes I'm at.
I think I only care about Connie, possibly Steven since they're related in a good way; and Attack the Light.
Help me? <3

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! You can't force yourself to like anything. There's a lot of critically acclaimed stuff people dislike for a reason or another and vice versa. You tried it, it wasn't for you. No big deal.

I mean if you keep at it there's a ton of development for Connie and Steven and it's great but it is all in the context of dealing with gem stuff.
And the gem stuff does become more and more relevant as the show goes on. It gets really good but the sorta normal slice of life episode become scarcer.

Oh really when?Yeah it's fine, it's really not for everyone, and that's okay.
When it comes down to it, not everyone really can agree which is the bigger part of the show, which is a good thing in my book.
That one about Peridot's perspective is great.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. So in about two years, Steven Universe may be the oldest Cartoon Network show still running.

Yeah, Adventure Time is ending in 2018 with season nine.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Let's hope they can starve off the seasonal rot ,because that tends to effect long runners

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.Cartoon Network Original Series.
Edit: Teen Titans Go is older, right? Although it's debatable if that counts, since that's a Warner Animation cartoon that's just CN exclusive, not a Cartoon Network Studios show (Cartoon Cartoon).
