Agreed on the awesomeness of Sam Elliot as Gen. Ross. Dude should so totally have had his own movie.
Absolutely nothing. i enjoyed it from start to finish. Much better casting than TIH, much better story and much better music
It's been a while since I've seen it but I distinctly remember the film being too dark, slow, daddy issues came across silly to me and I don't need to mention the mutant poodles.
Plus something was off about that scene where the Hulk went off against a fighter jet and ended up in space temporarily.
I'm on Youtube Reviewing Things Cause I can.Exactly what would happen in real life.
hashtagsarestupidThat scene with the jet was one of the best in the movie and better than anything in Hulk 2008. I believe they just went to the upper atmosphere anyway.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackI remember the Hulk dogs being ridiculously uggo.
I liked it better when Questionable Casting was called WTH Casting AgencyThe 2003 movie had both higher highs and lower lows than the Norton movie. The remake lacked emotional depth and intelligence, and Liv Tyler and William Hurt were poor substitutes indeed for Connelly and Elliott—but at least the later film didn't have the Hulkpoodle, or Nick Nolte literally chewing the scenery. TIH was more conventional, took fewer risks and (consequently) fewer missteps ... and was as flavorless as week-old chewing gum.
On balance, I'll take the Ang Lee version any day of the week.
"She was the kind of dame they write similes about." —Pterodactyl JonesI think he hit the nail pretty well.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackSo what did you'll think of the Planet Hulk movie?
No, not the animated version, but the forthcoming live action film. (Does live action really apply to a fully CGI movie?)

"Show us the Galaxy Warp."Find another Hulk story to adapt already, people. Yes, there are some besides the origin and Planet Hulk. Shocking, I know.
Well why not apply the obvious logic that if the animation was direct to video, the live action followup should be a TV series.
But we've already had the movie and the TV series, so we need a twist to keep the watchers on their toes and uncertain about the ending.
Planet She-Hulk: She's nearly invulnerable, but her clothes ain't.
Obliviously it's a premium channel series like Game of Thrones, not a broadcast TV series like Small-eville or Arrow the Hood.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."My answer is a simple one: there is *no* forthcoming Planet Hulk movie. There is a *rumor* of such, from a source that is overrated in accuracy.
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comI would class GCI as animation.

You know, as dull as the movie was, I also remember it being full of unintentionally funny moments that people rarely bring up when discussing it. Seriously, I don't care what the context is, I can not take the idea of a huge, naked green man fighting a mutated poodle seriously. That long, drawn-out scene of Bruce's dad approaching the Hulk and then stroking its face was also more silly than dramatic.
