You can skip the ad-lib animations by pressing B, if the fancy takes you.
Song of the SirensWorked my way to the intermission after Chapter 1. Game is pretty fucking great so far.
And whoever the localizer is, they did a good job with the "Topic" messages which ooze charm in the way only texting can do!
(Also, story is pretty decent so far too.)
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Yeah, that made me shake my head.
My fav song so far. Yashiro might be a prick, but he can put on a good show.
EDIT: TBH, it's probably a tie between this and The Labyrinth. Helps that the latter can literally wipe the battlefield clean.

Song of the SirensMaaaaan, even in a different series, Excellus manages to be an annoying fuck.
My tip: Bring Magic Mirrors, it is so much fun.
Song of the SirensTiki's reactions to the epic doughnut description was funnier than the description itself.
I'm kind of annoyed that Itsuki is the main character when Tsubasa is getting most of the important development and story beats. And if it's not her it's Kiria. Everymans are boring main characters.
Should have made him a weirdo. Like De Su 2's Bunny. I mean he gets his outfit and everything.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. He seems to have a pretty odd sense of humour. Like, when you're introducing Yashiro to Tiki, you have the option to call him your long-lost younger brother (despite the fact that he's older than you).
Song of the SirensOn another note, now that I have a good look at the elements, it's actually kinda nicely done: We have Sword, Lance, Axe, and Bow which are the physical weapons in FE, Fire, Ice, Thunder, Force, Dark/Body, and Almighty, which appears to be Awakening's spell elements crossed with Shin Megami Tensei's spell elements.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!It's embarrassing to admit how long it took me to realise the physical weapons follow the FE triangle. Swords beat axes and are weak to lances, f'rinstance.
Song of the SirensI take it you never played Blazing Sword?
Tsubasa's next side story has a recommended level of 47. Itsuki is level 36. Well, I'm not going to be hitting that for awhile.
Thread title changed per request.
Oh hey, after Tsubasa does her drink ad, her picture appears on the office's vending machine. That's a nice little detail.
Song of the SirensThere's a lot of details with posters and commercials popping up after they're done. It's nice.
I'm surprised at how intense and interesting the boss fights can be. You'd think it would just boil down to hitting the weaknesses, but there's a lot of thought in how much you should buff, heal, switch, and other options you have. This battle system keeps impressing.
On the whole, I find -unda spells more useful than -kajas. During boss fights, at least. Since you'll probably be swapping party members around.
Song of the SirensNever underestimate the value of buff/debuff spells in SMT, yeah. It helps that they're an Always Accurate Attack in a game series where pretty much everything else might miss.

I sure said that!Oh, OK. Someone just pointed out to me that the shop clerk dressed as Black Frost is, in actuality, Anna. So that's a thing.
Song of the SirensOpen Audition is such an OP skill and I love it.
Song of the SirensAnna has come to serve the Jack Frost Overlords.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Anyone got any advice for the chapter 4 boss fight? My first attempt devolved into "spam healing spells and item to not totally die, at the cost of offense".
Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownIf you're having trouble, throw some magic at Yashiro. Excellus'll waste a turn healing him if he drops below a certain HP level. Once Excellus stops switching resistances, use Magic Mirrors to bounce his attacks back at him.
Yashiro attacks in the same pattern: Sukukaja/Counter -> Cleave/Counter -> Cleave/Cleave.
Other than that, use Sukunda/Dekaja to strip Yashiro's buffs, and make sure to use Tarunda and Rakukaja to minimize the damage you take.
Remember, it's an SMT game. It hates you and wants only to cause you pain. And also stat-altering spells are super important.

Song of the Sirens
I can't find the third lucky spot for the fortune telling girl. The hint is diving board of the photography exhibit. I've searched all over the Shibuya Idolasphere that I can and haven't found it.
For some reason Kiria triggers her ad-lib far more often than the others. Not sure why, but the animation and effect is really good, so it's not a problem.
