I think P.B. will be that annoying hyper active type side kick or too bubbly. She doesn't give me the blatantly disrespectful and unreasonable psycho vibe Sera did.
Who watches the watchmen? So to the cluster then. Maybe they're some kind of Mongol-like nomad warrior race?
Personally, I never really cared for how many hats are applied to the aliens and how the stereotypes tend to really be the rule. It got... annoying after awhile and it felt like a crutch at times.
The Sera comparisons with Peebee make no sense to me at all.
Librarian: Sign me up for space Mongols.
Who watches the watchmen?Peebee's profile has her listed as "pathologically independent" and who will do anything to alleviate her boredom. She's also described as "Socially blunt". It's also implied she can be rather flippant (In Bioware's words "completely goofy" and "very bubbly"). Add that she's got some designs that clearly meant to evoke more of a rogue (Her signature weapon is a revolver called the Sidewinder Outlaw pistol and the fact she doesn't wear armor) than a soldier or a scholar.
It's obviously based on little, and she might turn out completely different, but a lot of the above describes Sera to a tee.

Yes, but I doubt Pee Bee will be as insufferable as Sera.
God I hope not. But again, it'd not be hard to make her more fun than Sera, so I keep my hopes up.
Yeah, "irreverent" doesn't have to mean "self-righteous, naive, immature brat." Irreverent can also be good. Varric, for instance, is the right kind of irreverent.

She appears plot relevant due to her job as a scientist so hopefully she's likable.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."If they focuses on her as an curiosity/intellectual, maybe she'd be decent. I dont think she'll be as bad as Sera, so let's keep an open mind, yeah?
How old is Cora? Is when she Dad Ryder's age? Her features say "young" but her hair says "old".
Humans live to be 150 on average in the Mass Effect 'verse, yeah? So she could be older without necessarily looking that much older. Might be kind of nice to actually see them do more with that concept.
Not on average, but up to.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.I was hoping drak would be the tech specialist to just mess about with the hats a bit.
I like vectra in omega - biotic Turian. Having the new turian being more tech is ok but still hattish....
Apparently the opening act is quite combat heavy, but I suppose that's to be expected. Pcgamer seemed disappointed it wasn't more dialogue led at the beginning... either way with all the expanded exploration and deeper side characters this is looking much more promising.
Even f it does look and feel like "inquisition with guns"
I hope Liam's not a Kaidan; Bioware can do better than mememing a cookie cutter archetype, surely.
I don't think he's going to go around looking for Geth.
Seriously, though, Liam has a bit different ...style, from what we've seen so far, to differentiate him from Kaidan. He's less serious, more emotional, and isn't as shy about kicking ass with omni-blades.
IGN Mass Effect: Andromeda Hands-on
Spoiler-free, of course.
It looks like it took on the best parts of 1 (exploration), 2 (characters) and 3 (combat) and meshed it together well. No real news in the vid, she mostly reiterates what we already know, which is quite fine.
I got the impression that combat is a rather small part of her hands-on, something I'm surprised about. Didn't think AAA game would move past combat being a major part of the game, so I'm even more hyped for it - endless clones dropping from the sky is a chore, frankly.
The alien planets are sufficiently varied, which is cool.
She also said Humans fall right in the Uncanny Valley, but the Aliens look just right.
At the end, though, she said the pre-release build she had her hands on were very buggy, which is concerning. Her example is AC: Unity, so yeah.

Plus his hair is awesome.
And he scowls. Kaidan frowned but never SCOWLED.
I'm interested to see if there are other intelligent species aside from the Angara. And they're being weirdly cryptic about the Quarians as well...
The Kett are actually Huskified Quarians that were sent by The Reapers to Andromeda, hence why they're all weirdly organic - because ALL OF THE ENDINGS ACTUALLY MEANT THE REAPERS WON!
So, um, yeah?
That isn't even Wild Mass Guessing that is A-grade Epileptic Trees material.
AND THEN WE WERE CERBERUS.
I have suddenly had my interest in this spiked. Though it's interesting that we don't have an ability wheel anymore, so we can't get team mates to use specific powers. Also, no sign of how we equip their gear yet.
It seems they're really striking a good balance between ME 3 Weapon customisation and ME 1 detail on kit as well. Colour me impressed so far.
Though the shotguns don't seem to have much "oomph" behind them in videos so far.
Man, I'm getting more and more excited as the game gets closer.
These last few weeks have done a lot to assuage my concerns. The promotional material has answered most of the questions I wanted to know, and I'm glad that the focus is on a smaller team with more interactions between them.
One thing I wanted to mention: I know it was established a while ago that the multiplayer in this game would have no impact whatsoever on the singleplayer and I'm fine with that. But I can't help but think that this is a missed opportunity and that there was more that could be done with that.
I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I personally liked the fact that ME3's multiplayer affected the War Assets. First of all because I would have probably never tried the multiplayer otherwhise, as I'm not big on those sorts of modes usually. Secondly, because I actually thought it was a clever way to promote a new mode that I ended up actually liking. Lastly because it gave me something to do when I didn't want to advance the story but still wanted to stay immersed in that universe, all the while feeling that I was making progress towards something.
One thing I actually dislike with multiplayer modes is that they are so detached from everything else you do in the game that it feels sometimes like you aren't making any progress. Sure you have leaderboards and unloackables, but those don't really have the same impact as seeing something change in the singleplayer. At least for me.
I personally would like to see more games try to have their multiplayer affect the singleplayer either in the form of unlockables that can be used in the campaign, new quests that open, etc.

I looked at the latest gameplay trailers released, they were both off-putting and tempting.
Off-putting because the AI looked like massive idiots at time, running into melee as a sharpshooter, leaving cover for no good reason, staying in BAD cover. What's more, the fauna looks like either a mess or a bunch of copy-pastas of the Fiend. I've seen two different "beasts" only, so that makes me worry about enemy variation (I think for fair reasons too). This reminds me a bit too much of the No-Man's Sky happening.
Tempting because I still like the Mass Effect universe and the skill systems seems to be a nice refresh of the series. It doesn't seem to be mindbogglingly different, but it's fine to me because I'd like the Mass Effect experience again, not a complete redo into new gimmick with the same name on top.

MEMORY: 16 GB RAM
VIDEO CARD: NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB, AMD RX 480 4GB

Pretty sure I can meet the minimum reqs, but not the recommended ones. To upgrade, or not to upgrade...
Yeesh.
I won't be able to max out the game, that's for sure.
I certainly don't have the money for an upgrade right nowm but I think my gtx960 4gb should be enough.
Agreed.
I loved ME 2's squad far more than any of the other games in the series. ME 1 just didn't have enough squad moments and ME 3 had me wanting to go back to my ME 2 family since I never got particularly attached to Liara and etc.
But, when it comes down to it, I'd rather a small but structured cast. I do like the options to just simply never have certain characters though if just for the sake there will inevitably be some characters that some people see no narrative point in having around.
