Nope, this is all top secret but UNPNTF periodically releases some knowledge into the public to try to prepeare them if things go public, too bad it seems like its only the conspiracy maniacs and other crazies that catch on. Zombies was a big success though :p

As for Tech. This takes place 2015 you know so not all that far into the future but you can expect some tings that is in development right now to have been released and be in use.

General Equipment: Smart Glasses. Smart Phone. Modular Tactical Vest (Lighter body armor (Metal Cuirass) for Vampires and other such tough guys) with this helmet that is also lined with tinfoil on the inside to protect against psychic attacks (Psychics can opt to remove this to allow their powers to be more effective).

Ammo: (Please observe that the ammo is issued on a mission to mission basis)

• Standard: FMJ Bullets
• AM(Anti-Magic) Bullets: Bullets made from an Alchemical metal which looks like dull silver that upon contact with magical fields and energies disrupts the magic.
• Silver Bullets: What is says on the tin. Bullets made from silver.
• Sanctified projectiles: Bullets made from a variety of holy symbols that were melted down and turned into bullets under the blessings of various holy men.
• Other: Various different ammunition such as incendary rounds and hollow-point

Smart glasses? I wonder how that works, when Thaum doesn't have eyes like we do... Then again I am not quite sure how she sees.

As I noted in the signup, Ferus has no equipment save for a hardened comms device.

Smart glasses is basically a tad more advanced google glasses. Also, the equipment is not set in stone as the characters can customize

May I ask another silly question?

I'm not very savvy regarding modern military strategy...or...anything military, really, but isn't the point position usually rotated rather than given to one specific person all the time?

Usually it is yes. I just needed another position :P

Which would be more suitable for a vampire? Sniper, Automatic Rifleman or Occult Expert?

Probably a mixture of the 3, with a focus on Occult.

By the way, I think this is how to pronounce UNPNTF: un-PUN-tough

So, does the point man in this team have a similar function to a rifleman in a RTFA constellation sort of team? Except, you know. Using a shotgun .

I'm thinking that the ability to sense an emotional presence might make Alec a good fit for point man. (Also, I don't think anyone would really want the international criminal having their back. And it will give him the opportunity to complain )

Thaum'd make a good scout and infiltrator, but I dunno what that translates to over on the list of positions.

Well, maybe she can be the automatic rifleman? Also, Vampires, especially one who seemingly only works part time would probably work best as a Occult Expert
