Survival Horror - Second Time

"Trains block off the way to the right!" Zangief called out. "Little matter, it looks like. We make our way out, one way or another." Not wanting to risk the prospect of fighting more than two of the Napads at a time, he sat down where he was, waiting for the others to be done collecting.

"It is sad thing to say," he continued, "When you may have to use a weapon against creatures so strong. Not attacking you all, I may pick up pipe or something myself, but still unfortunate."

"Here. Got you some ammo."

Saito handed Fordo four clips of 30-round magazines for the MP5A3.

"And if there's nothing else to get aside from another sidearm, then medical supplies is the next one on the list."

These people are clearly my allies. I've played enough matches to know that you should always work as a team. "Who needs weapons when you've got enough chemicals to wipe out Demacia on your back?" Singed said, following Zangief through the door. "Nice work, Zangief." After complementing the wrestler, Singed takes a look around. "Where are we, exactly? I've never seen a place like this in Runeterra. Those big metal constructions look vaguely like some kind of cargo transporter, but otherwise I'm confused."

"Those?" Zangief responded, turning his head back, "Those are sub-way trains. They carry people very quick underground." He turned himself back towards the tunnels below. This poison man was strange, if friendlier than he was before. Anything was better than being poisoned, he supposed, though the comment about Demacia confused him, almost as if here were poisoned already. He'd never heard of Damacia.

"If you see tunnels in Demacia, like this," Zangief continued. "They not a good fighting place, not at all." He remembered a particularly entertaining match against a band of thugs in a tunnel like this, one that he quickly lost his taste for when one of them were flattened by an oncoming train. No one deserved that kind of death.

"So it's the same principle as underground cargo transporters, it's just people rather than cargo." Singed said, starting to understand more. Singed was almost starting to get along with Zangief. Hmm. I've never bonded with other champions before. I suppose now that we have a brief respite from the fighting, we do have a chance to talk. "Agreed. I could easily poison this entire room and walk out as the only one left. That's not even a challenge."

"Say, where do you come from exactly, Zangief? As in, what world?" Singed was quickly starting to realise that he was not in Runeterra anymore. In fact, he may even be in an entirely different universe. Judging by the fact that he knows what these things are, I think that we might be in his world.

"Me?" Zangief responded, pointing his thumb to his chest. "I think this is my world, or something like my world. I come from a group of countries called Soviet Union." He stood himself up, and leant against the wall. "I train hard in the art of wrestling, so President of the Union made me the fighting representative. I was training for street-fighting tournament when I was taken here." He finally looked over towards the chemist.

He was certainly nothing like he'd ever seen, and that'd been quite a lot. "What about you, poison-man? Where are you from?"

"I'm from a world called Runeterra, a world that used to be in the middle of lots and lots of war. Noxus, where I'm from, liberated Ionia and then went to war with the self righteous bastard country known as Demacia who think it is ok to break ceasefires just because they're better than us." Singed paused as he reflected the state of the current war. "Then the Institute of War was made, and they decided that, to keep the peace, every country should select champions to represent it and fight on that battleground rather than a real one. I immediately agreed to do this, wishing to show off my chemical prowess. Then people starting choosing to join. Then the 'summoners' started choosing and enslaving creatures from different worlds, including unholy abominations from the Void." He finished explaining.

"I may be working for some complete assholes, but I get to use my chemical warfare and beat people up, so I'm happy."

Saito went to check the medical cabinet to see that first aid sprays were available with the Tricell logo.

"A First Aid Spray?" Saito murmured when he picked one up. He read the instructions and it said that one needs to spray it onto a wound in order to get it to heal.

"Here." Saito passed one of the sprays to Fordo. "Could be useful." He proceeded to pick up a few before he went outside.

"Hey guys. I got some stuff from the medical cabinet."

Saito told the others when he went outside the security booth.

"First Aid Sprays."

He then motioned to Red to see him at once.

Fordo followed Saito, still trying to figure out how to work the primitive gun.

"I sometimes have the same feeling, comrade." Zangief replied. "The leaders of our nation are not always the kindest of men, but they are forgivable. By their own ideals, they would not be leaders, but that is other story altogether." He laughed, deep and loud.

"But at least they know were the best fighting is. We participate in fighting tournaments with arenas around the world, usually hosted by some villain that I occasionally get chance to pile-drive."

"Hey." Saito greeted Zangief and showed him a First Aid Spray.

"Found this. Could be useful for us later."

"There's no set villains or heroes in my world. It depends on who you agree with. For example, Noxians think of me as a hero but Demacia despises me. However, there are some real bastards within the League. Hero, villain, it doesn't matter who I'm killing, as long as someone gets poisoned, I'm happy." Singed explained, reflecting on his time in the League.

When Saito shows up with the First Aid Spray, Singed is intrigued. "First Aid Spray? Even I couldn't make one of those. How have they managed to perfect that kind of recipe?" He asks.

Finished with barricading the entrance, Red set out to find Saito.

"Here, Red. I found this."

Saito greeted Red and handed him a First Aid Spray and told him that it can be used when he's wounded.

"I don't know if it'll work on your... creature friends." The sniper frowned. "You know, I don't know what they're called. Do they have a special term, Red?"

When he heard Singed's question, Saito shrugged.

"Beats me. Reminds me of some of the medical stuff I've seen in Japan after I got back from fighting in Mexico against American Empire-led UN peacekeepers."

Red handed Saito his Exposition Device Pokedex.

"They are referred to as Pokemon."

Red, meanwhile, was busy confusing the Spray for a potion.

"Your story and mine are not to different, comrade Singed" Zangief said, breaking his reflection. "It's good to know." He turned his attention to Saito, who was handing out the first aid spray. Years of scars and healing had left his own skin in little need of repair, but other curiosities sacked his mind.

"Metal man?" he called out, "I am not familiar with your name, though your skill with that weapon speaks for itself. Where are you from again?"

"No, Red." Saito told Red like a parent talking to a child. "You use it like an aerosol spray. Just take off the cover and push the spray when the nozzle is focused on a wound in your body. I'm not sure if it'll work with serious ones."

He then turned to Zangief. "Call me Saito. I'm an agent of Public Security Section 9 under the Japanese National Public Safety Commission. We take care of serious cases related to cyber crimes, although we also take care of terrorist cases too. Prior to that, I was a guerrilla fighting off UN peacekeepers led by the American Empire."

Red stopped for a minute to wonder why Saito told him it wasn't a potion, then told him it worked just like a potion, but let it go, and approached the furry man. He looked like a fighting pokemon.

"It would seem that America is rival of us both," Zangief observed, "If only they were honest enough to call themselves that." He was going to go over and shake Saito's hand, when the Pokemon trainer's stare caught his peripheral vision.

"And what about you, little man?" he said. "You have interesting resources yourself, with orange dragon and all. Zangief might be careful in world where such flames are around." He smiled, gesturing that it was just a joke. "It is good to have you around, if not for you being in danger."

Red handed him his Pokedex.

"This is Red. He is a pokemon trainer from Pallet Town, Kanto. He has seen 151 pokemon. His trainer idea is 246897531."

Saito laughed it off.

"Don't worry, big guy. Honestly when I heard of that country next to the remnants of the United States and the American-Russian Alliance, I thought they had a king or something."

"What do you speak of," Zangief asked, his face smattered with confusion, "Things are different for the Union over in your world? An alliance in between America and Russia?" This was getting in the area of the painfully strange for the wrestler. What if this cyborg was some man from the distant future?

"These things....they are news to me." he continued. "If you would be kind."

Slowly, a four-armed girl approached the group. Her hair hid her face, and her upper set of arms was abnormlly large, especially the forearms.

"I don't like this place," she said. "The toys aren't shiny..."

"I'll tell you about that later Zangief when..."

Saito suddenly encountered the girl who had four arms.

"What the? Four arms? That a cyborg model I haven't seen yet?"

His arm was placed on his C26A submachine gun, not sure on how to respond to this newcomer.

"It's nothing new in my world. I've seen a four armed cyborg that could take on five Jedi at once." Fordo said.
