This is the first I've heard of the Minutemen-Railroad-Brotherhood ending being a bug. I don't quite buy that given you can tell Di MA you're in both during Far Harbor after the story is over.
Since Far Harbor was created as DLC, it's entirely plausible that the devs decided to Throw It In! if players managed to glitch out the main quest, or simply hadn't completed it by the time they travel to the Island.
Speaking of that, it's kind of annoying that you still get radiant Minutemen quests there. I hate getting called away because "Abernathy Farm is under attack", and/or failing the defense quests if I ignore them too long. I suppose it's motivation to build up the defenses of those settlements so they can fight off invaders themselves. Getting the "X successfully defended itself" is quite gratifying, but I also get perversely annoyed: "What, you mean that the five missile turrets I built did the job they were supposed to? You don't say!"
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Speaking of settlements,I kinda tend to ignore them,so when I ran into the one with the liberated Mr Handy,I noticed that I had 10 settlers with 0 water,7 beds and maybe 5 food.
I'm a good Mayor/Overlord,aren't I?
Luckily, provisioners tend to solve most problems,so I patched it up somewhat.
Secret SignatureI love building up settlements; in fact, once I finally got hip to buying shipments of some of the rarer materials, I made it a point to give each one electrical lighting and 100+ Defense in the form of turrets, preferably high up so they have the largest field of fire.
I will admit that missile turrets tend to be problematic in some areas due to collateral damage, but damn if they aren't fun.
Interestingly, it seems that attacks are scripted for each particular settlement in terms of the types and levels of enemies that conduct them. For example, some seem to get exclusively attacked by Gunners, while others are predated on by Super Mutants, and a few lucky ones seem to get hit by vanilla raiders or Synths. The Super Mutant targets tend to require the most maintenance, because they love to bombard the turret defenses with miniguns.
One way that I've read about (and practiced) to prevent attacks is to accept the Radiant quests that come up, finish their objectives, but not turn them in. The game has a cap on how many it will assign to you per faction.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"That's the same way I handle them as well.
On the other hand, if you are trying to build companion affinity after completing all the content, they're the only game in town.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Speaking of settlements, I really love the concrete and farm roofs. No more holes in the ceiling.

Who watches the watchmen?Hey, so I installed the 'Fix Castle Walls' mod that ya'll suggested and I like it but...
I can't for the life of me get the walls to snap into place. Yes, I've watched the video. I know that its got a finicky snap spot. But I just can't seem to find it after a few hours and its exhausting just doing this one thing.
Am I somehow missing something or did I not install it properly? I used the Mod Manager if that makes a difference.
Also, how do you reactivate achievements? It told me they were deactivated at one point and I don't know why or how to fix it.

Nooooooo
Oh really when?According to Pete Hines on Twitter, PS 4 mods aren't getting cancelled and the delay was caused by the known issues Bethesda had with them.

Pete Hines: Austin G 11711 not at all. Just still things to sort out we had hoped would be done by now.
That is a disappointment. I wonder what caused the delay?
Modern weapons is definitely a fun mod. Paired with the more spawns mod the wasteland feels more like a warzone. Faction infighting, constant fire fights, and of course lots of loot and XP provided you don't get your ass shot off.

Who watches the watchmen?I'm loving the anti-tank rifle mod so far.
I enjoyed it for a while but it felt a bit one sided to be blasting every enemy into oblivion. The 20mm Anti-tank gun in Modern weapons gives me my heavy weapons fix.
Though running into large gunner patrol with four or five guys packing Modern Weapons hardware makes for some ugly fire fights.
The Commonwealth at war mod is definitely a good excuse to have Fallout 4 Commander mod.
Who watches the watchmen?PS 4 mods be here soon. I need you.
Oh really when?Hang in there Garcon soon you can get your fallout mod fix.
I have quite the mod mix going on. Modern weapons, the melee weapons pack, unleveled wasteland, Commonwealth at war, advanced turrets, Punisher armor, and assortment of small changes. The game is a lot more interesting especially visiting areas where enemy densities are high to begin with like the quarries.

Who watches the watchmen?August is my next prediction for PS 4 mod release.
I shall now hibernate until then. Or until Nuka World comes out. When is that?
Oh really when?Also in August.
So is the Vault thing in July then?
Oh really when?
When I discuss ending scenarios, I tend to assume that the player is not attempting to glitch the game or skip quests that are intended to be completed.
