Why Rayquaza? That's based on the Ziz.
You know, I'm pretty sure that they complained then.
Another green world. There is no ice wolf.
Oh. I was going to say that it might be based on fenrir
x4 Because it pretty much totally fits Jormungandr, and we don't really need two serpents which will most likely both be Dragon/Flying.
EDIT: Okay, after reading up about Jormungandr and its relation to the sea, maybe Water/Dragon then?

Give the God Eater game thread some love! That would fit with the Norse theme of the other legendary Pokemon. If that's true, do you think we'll get a Hel and a Jörmungandr to go with it (maybe with a Sleipner as an Event Legendary)?
Since when did no one complain about Gen IV? I know I at least wasn't happy the majority of the Pokedex was Com Mons and evolutions/pre-evolutions to older Pokemon.
Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro.x2 An anon on 2ch was thinking that Arceus could be Sleipnir...I don't think that's too far off either.
Give the God Eater game thread some love!Hanabira: In what way does Ziz fir in with the Midgard Serpent? They're two entirely different mythological creatures. Jormungandr would be Dragon/Water if anything because it's a sea serpent.
Cassidy: How do you know?

Pretty sure Arceus only has four legs and it would be bizarre to force older legendaries into new mythologies that make no sense for them.
Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro. It's not a huge stretch, but it's about 4 legs short, unless they give it an 8 legged mega form to put it above Mega Mewtwo.
x3 Yeah, I just read up on that and noticed its relation to water.
I had previously read that it's a large serpent that coils around the world or something, so I assumed Dragon/Flying.
But having read a little more about it, instead of Dragon, it seems more like Water/Poison; Jormungandr is supposed to leave the ocean and poison the sky at Ragnarok.

Give the God Eater game thread some love! That would give us the final type for Legendary.
Hmm, good point. I'd be fine with either really as long as it's a Water/Something serpent.
Really? Well in that case I really want it to be Poison.

Yeah, the Gen V finally gave us fighting type Lendaries in the Swords of Justice, and bug type in Genosect. I think Dark and Bug still lack a non-event Legendary.
Yveltal is Dark.
I'm sure by the time we get a Dark-type legendary, there will be a story similar to Morty's (sort of) where he wants to find this legendary. He will be the Dark-type Gym Leader, of course.
Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro.Whoops, I totally spaced on that.
Guys we already have a Dark type legendary.
[1]◊ Cyrus, what happened to you man.
No we don't. Not for 5 days.

Holy Grail, huh? Cool story, bro.Which is Zoya and which is Asa?
...I don't know how to process that.

Darkrai is pure dark. That's why I specified non-event. Including event Pokemon only Poison lack a legendary.

It sounds like Togepi is gifted to you in XY's post-game, and isn't in any Kalos Dex.
I didn't think of that actually. Yveltal is the first non-event Dark type legendary though.
Is it Fairy?

x3
I just don't see the point in complaining when this is about the same amount of new Pokemon for generation four and nobody complained then.
