Yeah, so that store got closed down
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.man,i feel sorry for them.
Secret SignatureI still think Ninty overreacted. Kind of dickish of them especially since it wasn't a big store.

To be fair, they were breaking the law.
I imagine that guy must be feeling like shit right now.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Do we know if there is any contest equivalent?
or not.he might be feeling bad soon though.
Secret SignatureI feel a bit bad for the store since I'm sure they weren't aware just how popular Pokemon is and that some people bought the games intending to show it off over the internet, but they still broke release date and I don't feel Nintendo reacted badly. The (apparently) one guy that outed them is probably feeling pretty bad about himself, assuming he cares.

The store was fined to the point that it had to shut down? Sheesh...
Hopefully I'll feel confident to change my avatar off this scumbag soon. Apologies to any scumbags I insulted.I hate how they were like "get the games back or $2000 fine" as if that would suddenly stop everything. Like seriously? They could've just blacklisted from future pokemon games if it was that serious but putting them out of business and demanding consumer bought product back is just wrong.
Really kostawhatever could leak whatever he wanted and wasn't wrong for that(assuming he's just a regular consumer), I dislike how he's being vilified for it.

Wait, whoah, hold the fuck up. The games are out early?
Louder than God's revolver and twice as shiny....man you are waaaay out of the loop buddy. Yeah for like the past 5 days, but only a few have leaked info from it.

Some stores in Italy and Canada broke the street date.
No, a store had sold copies before the official release date.
It was allegedly fined $2000 per copy sold (to 43 customers), but it turned out to be a small store (not a big chain like Gamestop or something), which is what did it in.

Yeah, I've been avoiding the interwebs like a champ to make sure I don't spoil myself.
Ughhh, freaking Canada and Italy wat r u doin.
Louder than God's revolver and twice as shiny.well if you want to avoid spoilers you should prolly not stay here cause we're talking about leaked info like crazy mofos
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~Civia@Vert: I don't think anyone's blaming him specifically for leaking, but supposedly he's the only one that revealed where he bought the game and people seemed to be blaming him for that (I guess the rest of the leakers have been smarter about keeping how and where they got the game a secret or something).

UHMIGAHD, yizzzzzz. Oh, Gamefreak. I expect some kind of crane Pokemon to be the first Fighting/Flying, and your like "Fuck that noise, here's a lucha hawk!"
I need this game.
Louder than God's revolver and twice as shiny. It sucks that the store had to close and people lost their jobs. But a release date is part of the contract for being able to sell the game. If you break the contract, you have to pay the price. There are people at Nintendo who are working hard to keep everything secret until October 12, and then a couple stores decide that the rules don't apply to them and start selling the game early? That's not okay.
Ultimately the blame is shared. The leaker shouldn't have put the info online, but the store knew what it was doing, knew the agreements, knew the dates, and broke them. And I do not buy that they didn't know the games would be popular. It's fucking Pokemon. One of the biggest entertainment franchises on earth. Anyone who thinks they might not sell well is an idiot who doesn't deserve to be in the business. They did, broke the law, and are now no longer in the business. Fair is fair, sucky though it is for the staff who no longer have jobs (at least, those who were innocent in this).
