I think that she looks quite nice! I wouldn't mind her being the Champion.
She's obviously not intended to look unattractive. She's a glamorous movie star in-universe. About her nose, pretty much every character in Pokemon ever has always had noses like that. I think she looks okay, she'd look better without that makeup. Also, white clothes look good.
