((right, yes, timezone im Eastern Standard I'm usually at work from the times between 1pm and 11pm. also, sorry this took so long, my sleep schedules a bit screwy because i got shifted to the 11pm-7am shift for a couple of nights ^^;))

Max had just wanted to go for a nice relaxing walk on the beach but nooooo, he just had to be jumped by some kind of strange barnacle man looking Pokemon.

"I bet you're a Water Pokemon aren't you? Maybe Rock too... right shouldn't take long then I have just the guy." He reaches into a side pouch on his backpack, pulling out a Pokeball and pressing the button to activate it. "Gi Gi, I think you can take this guy, right?"

The yellow tarantula blinked a few times as she was released, getting the situation and her trainers words down before letting out a few skittering noises.

<Oh, totally! This guy looks like a pushover!>

"I'll take that as a yes."

"Gi-gi dodge that!" Max had a pinch of worry in his voice, he knew his Galvantula was fast but she was also inexperienced in battle. As it turned out though, his worry was unfounded as the Pokemon jumped out of the way easily enough, already set to fight back.

<Na-na, can't hit me!~> She waved her front legs at the Barbaracle to taunt it, waiting for an order from Maximillion.

"Okay, so, let's not give him a chance to do that again huh? Energy Ball!" Gi-gi responded eagerly, gathering a bright green energy in her forelegs, and letting it fly, aiming squarely for her enemies hand-shaped head.

Barbaracle: <You wanna play tough, huh? Well you got it!>

Gi-Gi was too busy celebrating her successful attack to notice that it hadn't actually knocked her opponent out, and so got hit by the shell. And speedy she may be, but she's not exactly a tank.

<Ow, that hurt a little....>

"Okay Gi-Gi, gonna need you to shake that one off, and let him have it right back! Try for a Thunderbolt!" Max was mad now, though oddly his voice got calmed for it, more serious, and he glared the Barbaracle down.

<Right, okay, yes, I'll fry him up!> Static built for just a moment around the electro-spider, before she released it all in one shot towards the Water Type.

• Name: Daydre
• Age: Mid-teens
• Gender: Female
• Ethnicity: Chinese
• Appearance: 5'5", brown eyes, glasses. Her hair is black and cut into tomboyish sidetails. She usually wears a red hoodie with some kind of graphic t shirt underneath. Depending on the season/weather she'll wear either shorts and flip flops or pants and boots.
• Ties: Nope, none.
• Region of Origin: Sinnoh
• Backstory: Had a relatively normal childhood in a town on the eastern coast of Sinnoh. Well, except for her getting ostracized by other kids her age for her shyness. But that's what the relatively is for. After getting tired of that, she worked up the courage to go on a journey. Her mom finally let her (even as a child she was stubborn) go at the ripe old age of ten. Somehow, nobody questioned this while she travelled through Sinnoh. Then Johto, Kanto, Unova, and Kalos. (She spent about a year in each.) Until recently she wasn't able to go to Hoenn due to extenuating circumstances. Nowadays she is a good deal less shy, and is very prone to snark. Daydre has a pretty good sense of humor, but her past still kind of bothers her. And she really likes drawing.

• Species: Ninetales
• Gender: Male
• Ability: Flash Fire
• Personality/Bio: Daydre's starter. Sort of. He's the son of Daydre's mom's Ninetales, so they've been together for a pretty long time. As a result of Daydre sheltering him, he's kind of shy and a worrywart. He also takes on a sort of parental role for the rest of Daydre's team.

• Name: Anna
• Species: Volcorona
• Gender: Female
• Ability: Flame Body
• Personality/Bio: Generally serious and stoic. If you piss her off enough, though, she'll quickly become a fire filled rage machine. Daydre received her as an egg when she was going through Unova from a random guy.

• Name: Azami
• Species: Mawile
• Gender: Female
• Ability: Intimidate
• Personality/Bio: Really relaxed. She's not easily bothered by anything, and tends to do things 'because she feels like it'. She started following Daydre around during a trip into the Glittering Cave, and eventually allowed herself to be caught. When asked why she did this, she replied <The cave was starting to get boring. And I want to fight something other than a living rock.>

• Name: Percy
• Species: Vaporeon
• Gender: Male
• Ability: Water Absorb
• Personality: Literally Percy Jackson Kind of a smartass, and tends to join in when Daydre snarks at someone. Daydre received him in a trade as an eevee.

• Name: The Punisher
• Species: Togetic
• Gender: Male
• Ability: Serene Grace
• Personality: A calm little ball of fluff. At least outwardly. Daydre caught him in the Kalos Safari Zone. Surprisingly to most, he liked the name she recommended on a whim. A little too much.

Note that he knows Toxic and Psychic from T Ms.

• Species: Meowstic
• Gender: Female
• Ability: Infiltrator
• Personality: A little bit snobby and distant. She'll be more friendly if you know her well, but that's kind of hard when you can't approach her in the first place. She's kind of vitriolic best buds with Percy. Daydre caught her in Kalos.

I'm in EST zone. Unfortunately, I have camp from 8 to 3 in my time, and I'll be going on vacation in three weeks.
