We Are All Pokemon Trainers Signup Thread

-Strip's feet are struck by the Water Gun, taking a bit of damage, but they manage to hold up-

Strip: <You'd have better luck trying that around someone who isn't used to the water.>

Souta: "Strip, use Headbutt!"

-Strip rushes at Swampy headfirst with the intent to ram into him-

Swampy is not fast enough and takes the blow head on. Swampy is disoriented, but he does not flinch, and he recovers in time to counterattack.

Looks like creating a slick between Souta's Linoone, Strip, and Swampy isn't going to work...

Erin: Swampy, use Protect! Then, follow it up a Mud Slap!

Swampy proceeds to attempt just that, aiming for Strip's eyes so that Strip has a harder time seeing Swampy.

-Strip doesn't hit their target this time, but does get mud in their eyes, lowering visibility-

Strip: <Ngh...>

-They try getting their eye areas clean-

Erin: Swampy, hit it with Tackle!

Swampy attempts to tackle Strip before they are finished rubbing out their eyes, aiming for Strips' side so that they do not get mud in their face.

-Strip is struck by the Tackle, getting knocked to low health-

Souta: "Ah! Hang in there, Strip... Use Pin Missile!"

-Without turning around, Strip's fur becomes a bit spikier and needled shoot out of it, hoping to hit Swampy with them-

Swampy is too slow. The Pin Missiles hit Swampy, nearly knocking them out.

Both Swampy and Strip are at low health!

What to do, what to do...

Well, might as well try and finish them off!

Erin: Swampy, you can't lose now! Use Protect and follow it up with Rock Throw!

-With the Rock Throw, Strip is knocked out and falls to the ground-

Souta: "Hm..."

-He pulls out a ball and recalls the Linoone-

Souta: "Well, that was a fun match. You did pretty well."

Erin: Thank you! And thank you, Swampy.

Swampy: <You're welcome.>

Erin recalls Swampy.

Erin: Souta, I hope to see you again someday!

Souta: "Uh, yeah. Hope to see you again someday too."

"Maybe we can have a rematch then?"

Erin: Sure! That sounds cool.

Souta: "Great!"

"I should... probably get to the Pokemon Center. See you later!"

-Souta heads off for the Center-

Backstory: Issac Tremors was tired of all the sand. Oh, sure, it was good for training his starter Hippotas that later became a Hippowdon, but he felt there wasn't much to do in his home region, and he couldn't exactly call it secure with Cipher running around. Then one fateful year the J-Team showed up and beat Cipher's ass, and, naive to the casualties ob their end, he was basically CALL TO ADVENTURE, seeking them out and picking up several new mons on the way.

Just an immediate thought, I tried to specify my ethnicity as "European" already. They told me to be more specific, since that includes a lot of people. So are you English? German? I do not think you're Romani or something like that, given that you're tan from spending time in the sun, but if you are, feel free to say that.

Yeah, when you can, what you said about updating the mon bios and what GM said about being more specific than European if you want to specify one.

Also, could you read over Every's Essay and the Tone Essay again carefully? You're missing something from them.

Whoopsie, just saw this, have time to fix those. Pokemon bios still have to wait, but at least I'm getting actuall frigging ideas.

i'v read the tone essay, the every essay, the battle mechanics, the timeline and the lore i'm suposed to be knowing. Is there anything else i should read before creating my guy?

Only other thing is that we're currently in Sinnoh, around Sunyshore, and probably headed for Alola sometime next year, so as long as that won't be a problem for your character, you're good.
