Anyone else watching?

Last thing I expected was Michael Stipe coming out for a song with Chris Martin.

I was afraid that Paul Mc Cartney was going to be playing one of Nirvana's old chart toppers. Pleasantly surprised to see them playing a new tune. Haven't seen anything else from the show.

[up] Kinda? It was a song called "Cut Me Some Slack" that McCartney wrote with the remaining members of the band. A studio version is gonna be on the soundtrack to Dave Grohl's documentary Sound City, apparently.

I too was worried about them doing a Nirvana hit - the one thing I could imagine maybe being pulled off successfully was "About A Girl" (which would sort of be appropriate because it's said to be Beatles-inspired musically).

We did not need to see Roger Daltrey's bare chest at this particular point in his life, and that acoustic song they did at the end ("Tea & Theatre" from a Daltrey solo album, it turns out) was a pretty weak finish. However, The Who were fine otherwise and I like that they got "Bell Boy" in there - in general, I like that most of the older acts got some slightly lesser known album tracks in alongside the hits.

I missed Roger Waters, was that any good?

I only saw a few bands, but Roger Waters/Pink Floyd still sounds great. I wish they would've played Wish You Were Here though.

My PM box is always open to anyone who wants to talk/vent.
