I think the taint nearest my house is more or less cleansed. Now there's just a large jungle to deal with that's very, very closer to the smaller section of taint I neutralized.

So who here plays the prison server game type?

So it's that time of the month again when server costs return to haunt us all. I've also noticed that not too many people have been on as of late. Should I continue hosting this map? Should I host a new map? Should I do something completely different?

I CAN'T play. My 64-bit PC barely runs the pack, and my better laptop I a 32-bit.

I've been trying to play more now that my visitors are gone :3

Most of my gaming time lately is still FFXIV but I had a bit of a Minecraft itch today.

Unfortunately the server is currently down due to a lack of money and lack of players.

I can't figure out what was eating my golems though, it makes me sad.

Glitches were eating your golems.

sadface. I liked them so much! they made gathering unhealthy amount of mana beans easy peasy :D

yeah the direwolf pack just...didnt hold my attention, and the prolonged wait and frequent failure when trying to login to the server didnt help.

I am currently working on making a more barebones pack that will hopefully be less taxing to everyone's computing devices.

It's a decent pack, just HUGE.

The lack of public works projects also seems to be a bit of an issue. People tend to scatter to the wind because of minecraft mods' tendency to balance around solo play.

Alright, I got Forge. Installed it. Doesn't work. I start Minecraft, launch it with the Forge profile and edition, and it just doesn't boot up the game.

What version of forge and minecraft are you using?

Tried both 1.7.2 and 1.6.4 (or whatever the latest version of 1.6 was), and the most updated versions of Forge with each. Got the exact same issue both times.

Woo, I've been playing around in magic world 2 and it's a lot of fun. The one issue is the lack of liquid storage for blood magic. I might turn down my "fanmade enderman" spawn rate to 0 for now, since they can detect you from a very long way off, through walls, and will prevent you from sleeping.

So, it seems that the issue with Forge is that it needs to get in the works of the computer to satisfy something or other in there, and since this computer works differently (basically you can log onto any certain kind of computer and get the same stuff - desktop, files, etc.) and I don't have administrator privileges, it makes Forge fail.

Annoying, but alright.
