I would like to point out that the first post of page 800 is about shirts.
I say you buy half of them now and the rest later when you have more money.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!No Saiga, buying anime shirts leads to you singing to yourself while on the train wearing the fourth Hokage's coat, I've seen it myself!
Don't you mean you've done it yourself?
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Oh no, I'd never sing out loud, I'm terrible at it.
I have the money, it's just whether I want to spend that much at all... if I was going to, I'd just spend it now.
I just staryed to seriously build muscles. Why?
To attract ladies? Nah.
To do better in wrestling? Well, yes, but not the main thing.
So I can pull off Kamina cosplay well? Hell yes.
Oh, and guess who has two thumbs and have internet connection again. This guy.
Oh, and I got new housemates. Pretty girls, who are pretty favorabe towards me, at that. This is going to be something, all right.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Tried watching the first episode of the new series of Doctor Who... got fed up with it in like 15 minutes. I took lot of shit from this franchise, but I'm not going to just take shit like that.
The new episode wasn't great was it? Peter Capaldi's a fine choice, but the writing's gone downhill. The lizard lady, her wife and Strax are all overdone, too much quirk. Hopefully it gets better.
What pissed me off was how obvious they were in attacking the fanbase "If you don't like the new doctor, fuck you, you aren't a true fan!". I came in with basically no opinion on the new guy but this really annoyed me.
Huh, yeah I guess there was a whole monologue you could take as that. I just thought it was lizard lady being retarded on purpose to guilt trip Clara into having some character development outside of special snowflake.
Clara reaction doesn't make any sense either. She seen Doctor entire life, she knows he regenerates, she seen him as an old guy, so why is she shocked now? She was clearly used as a stand-in for the portion of the fanbase not pleased with the casting choice for the new Doctor.
I imagine it'd have been pretty easy to shelve John Hurt as being 'not the same person' whereas having your friend turn into 'someone else' in front of you would be distressing.
Now that you point it out though, wow, I can't stop seeing it.

I absolutely abhor it when, in a fantasy action series, the villain is more than strong enough to just one-shot the hero...but he acts all too arrogant or/and act stupid, allowing the hero to win.
For fuck's sake, I would like a villain who gives his absolute best and fullest effort to finish off the hero as soon as the opportunity arises. That's the thing I really liked about Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 2. If I remember correctly, no villain from Part 2 ever lost because of underestimating the hero.

"I have very narrowly defeated the only people who could possibly deduce my true identity. Now all I need to do is destroy them and all the evidence before their friends arrive, and I can sleep easy tonigh- wait, is that kid's sock inside-out? Dammit, I can't stand that sort of thing, I guess I'll have to fix it before killing him."
More seriously, I'd say villains being defeated by their own arrogance or flaws can be very satisfying if well-executed. Psychological problems are more acceptable, IMO, as well as qualities that are as much flaws as they are advantages.
@Irony - Are you talking about him being launched off of Earth? If so, let's be fair to him, he could have not seen that coming; the narration explicitly states that Joseph wasn't consciously doing it.
@Crini - I'm guessing you are talking about Diavolo? I...honestly don't remember/understand most things when it comes to that guy and especially his Stand. His eventual fate via Gold Experience Requiem was, at least to me, one of the most comprehensible things that happened in the Part.
Seriously, throughout most of Part 5, I was left "Wha....?" Too darn complex, man.
As for the villains being defeated by their own flaws and whatnot, honestly, while I know the potential, I haven't seen many cases where that's actually made good use of. In anime/manga, where I see the whole issue of Bond Villain Stupidity the most frequently, the only case where that's pulled off really well is Death Note, and that isn't even really a fighting series.
Also, I think a villain who isn't very strong, perhaps even weaker than the hero, but does everything he can, be it clever tactics, unconventional thinking, and sheer determination that would even outmatch that of hero, would make a villain that I would take more seriously. I guess it's YMMV.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Pretty much, yeah.
Then again, considering how so many main character nowadays just have their uber-powerful powers just handed to them without proportionate effort...

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.x3 Nah, I'm talking about Kira. That sequence I mentioned is actually one of my favorite parts of DIU, it's pure gold. Kira is precisely the sort of character that would do something like that, so I found it forgivable.

True that.
Then again, Kira is pretty much the best villain in the entire series (at least in my opinion). I think it had a lot to do with how much insight we get to see about his character.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. No, I'm talking about him following Joseph anywhere. He could have just hung around and killed all Joseph's friends while the guy was trying to lure him away. If he did that Joseph would have had to come back anyway, just kill him then. There was nothing to be gained by following him, 400 IQ and Kars chooses the least optimal decision.
The interesting thing about Kira is how much he has to work for his victories. Like, he never stops being a threat, but he also almost gets killed by a housecat, and he spends the majority of his introductory arc in a state of panic. The guy's almost an underdog.
"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."yep. Still, We can't forget that he did live up to his claims. Things that should have backfired on Kira end up working in his favor, thanks to to combination of cunning and lots of luck, so his death couldn't fit him any better. The man who "had luck was on his side" getting hit by an ambulance sent to help him.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018@d Roy I actually thought you were being faceticious. All of Part 2's villains lost that way.
Now I need to question whether I want to spend 300 dollars on t-shirts for myself.
For starters I want to get these three shirts, the Bulba for myself and the other two as 21st presents for my friends who are twins, because the three of us have a different favourite Kanto starter, plus this Dratini line shirt (favourite line) and then I found a sweet Vegeta shirt, some awesome Bleach shirts, and finally four really sweet Digimon shirts.
This is after cutting out five other shirts, and my total still comes to 318.24 AUD. Shit. I could always buy some now and others later, but then I won't get free shipping.
