Oh to be the edgy fourteen/fifteen year old again.
How I loathe him.

Coincidentally and bizarrely, that was the time when I got into...shojo mangas.
Yah, really.
It all started with binge reading of Card Captor Sakura and Kimi Ni Todoke. I initially did it secretly, but my "friends" found out and...started to do the same. Apparently they had the mindset of "You know what, why the fuck not?". But mostly, we were all about MST-ing the manga, chapter by chapter.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Shlugo:Ah, so. Who's your favorite character?
Kimi Ni Todoke is snark bait(From what I heard at least, not that I'd know since I haven't read it)but I remember CCS being kick ass, yes, quite.
Oh, and while we're talking about things we are following; Okami. It took me awhile to get the hang of the combat controls for the Wii, but now that I have, I'm loving this game.
@Irony: Me and Lior are around that age, and we aren't that edgy!
I think.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018CCS has the infamous elementary school teacher and his student lover, and it gets more fun from there. XD
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. It is kinda creepy, but I remember that it wasn't as bad as it sounded....Maybe?
Driving theme of CCS is love having no boundaries, so all corners were represented, whether we wanted Elementary Schoolgirl/Teacher or not.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018Lior: that's a real hard question, since good characters are one of the series strong points. It'd be hard to choose, but I do have a soft spot for Erina, since I think she's the best Foil for a main character I ever seen.
I wonder where in the hell they got their notion of love...
Also, I'm not sure if this is true, but apparently CLAMP made a semi-official manga where characters who are stand-ins (heheh) for Jotaro and Kakyoin had a baby. Which birthed from an egg.
Yeah, CLAMP.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Oh man.
CCS.
I remember watching the anime as a kid.
You have some fantastic taste if I might say so myself.
It is hard to choose between characters here isn't it?
The only one I actually hate is like... That guy whose name I forgot but I hate him so much I wanna beat the crap out of him.
You'll see who he is sometime soon. I believe in about 20+ chapters or something.

CLAMP moves in mysterious ways.
Non-non; the stand-in (heh) manga is Wish. A manga about an angel falling in love with a stern doctor with a soft, compassionate side. Their actual Jojo doujin Is the one with the egg
In all of Jojo, why those two? They don't get a lot of giggle worthy moments. Now Joseph/Caesar; that's possibly worth a doujin or twenty. Even Josuke/Okuyasu is a more plausible pairing.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018Shokugeki no Soma doesn't really make me hungry or anything. They spend so much time and effort describing it that it becomes pretty unappetizing to me.
Lior: Subaru? The one you're supposed to hate. He's weird personality keeps me from hating him since I want to see where the story is going with him.
I'm sorta glad that the manga doesn't really have any characters that I actually dislike. Normally I would hate someone like Megumi.

So I don't know if anyone knows this, but Gurren Lagann is now on Toonami.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Yeah, I got to that part. Holy shit, you weren't joking. Fuck. That. Guy.
But he's so good at embroidery and takes care of his motorcycle so well!
I'm curious, in what way do you hate him? Do you hate him because he's written to be hated or do you hate him because he's so obviously written to be hated? Because if it's the former you actually like him, in a way, they way I can kind of like Shinji Matou.
It's both really, he's so over the top evil that's it's really jarring, since the manga previously avoided making Soma's rivals into such caricatures.
Which is why I don't hate him. I cannot honestly believe that he is this vile for no reason whatsoever, meaning there has to be some kind of point to his character and some reason he's doing this. That's why I don't even hate him as I'm supposed to hate a Hate Sink.
Who are you guys talking about?
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Gilphon.
I kind of enjoy him because he manages to be Comically Serious at times, and because he's kind of hands down the best chef we've met, even though everyone acts like he's a fraud.
Wow, that ninja'ing could not have been more appropriate.

"Canada Day is over, and now begins the endless dark of the Canada Night."Man, replacing batteries has never been easier. In one hand I've got Everready Gold, in the other hand Energizer which boldly state on the packaging that they're longer lasting than Everready Gold.
Probably a lie but I don't know shit about batteries anyway.

I remember when I was a little kid I tested the time some Energizer batteries would last, some Duracells and some generics. The generics did the best, hands down. Though I am pretty sure I did not meet the standards of scientific credibility.
Gilphon: It is kind of weird that everyone keeps harping on him not loving cooking. As if it's some kind of weird attitude to have. I mean, my dad was a chef (when he wasn't a manager) and I don't think he gave two shits about cooking.
I guess your dad's lucky he wasn't in a shonen cooking story, or he would have been eeevil.
Again, what character are you guys talking about?
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Subaru M-something. Mimasaka? A character in Shokugeki no Soma who showed up to grab the place of one of the supporting cast from the tournament and then proceeded to act like a huge dick to everyone, especially the main character's self appointed rival.
@Irony - We actually don't read that much mangas (well, I do, but not them). There were times in middle school where we would read mangas by likes of Osamu Tezuka and Naoki Urasawa, because we wanted to be those edgy/sophisticated guys who love cynical works and reject "childish shit" like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, etc. Those were times.
But somehow we all got into Jojo in similar period. I don't know how, but that happened.
