It took a couple of days, but I'm all caught up with the Attack On Titan manga.

I gotta say... I saw it coming.

It's an odd thing. Basically, this series, as I predicted from the very start of when I heard of it, has significant similarities with Fullmetal Alchemist 2003. Note - I preferred that version of FMA.

I've basically resigned to this series going from one Crapsack World moment to another, to ensure readers can't pass 5 pages without "what-the-fuck style faces."

Very recently I started drawing comics. Well, more like sketching. Since I have precisely zero training anything involving drawing outside of very basic photoshop, I'm taking a very writer-ish approach.

• Write dialogues and action directions (gesture, expression, etc)
• Divide them into panels.
• Put in the words and the character heads
• Draw rest of the body and then background.

So basically, I've went from "Can't draw jack" to "At least can draw storyboard."

And you are that much further ahead of me, then

Now that I've gave up playing Overwatch (one too many losing streaks...), I should have so much more time.

No, if anything I should focus my Ichigolust into drawing Ichigosmut and improve my art that way

edit: but being serious, I actually have started practicing more. My current hang up is trying to draw realistic/non-nightmarish boobs

I bet the REAL reason tacky fanservice is so prevalent is that boobs are so fucking hard to draw artists want to get their mileage out of the effort that goes into it

Oooooooohhhhhhhh crap.

I just remembered that I have something far, far, far more important thing to worry about than Overwatch or drawing comics.

So it turns out that the current Korean president have actually been working under the orders of a woman that she has known for decades and also a leader of a cultish religion. There's a physical, undeniable evidence for this in the form of a discarded tablet PC that an Intrepid Reporter obtained that contains numerous files that are supposed to be classified but edited under her admin ID and including her selfie. And no, she's not in any official government position at all.

So what is possibly for the first time in Korean history, the left wing and the right wing factions are both furious and joined forces together to accuse the president. People are demanding the president to resign, and that's the more subdued opinion, with the more extreme ones demanding blood.

And considering that current presidency is regarded as THE worst term ever since the military dictatorship, people are even angrier.

Does that sound like I'm making shit up? Because holy shit, I wish I was.'
