Needs Help: Cyberpunk With A Chance Of Rain

I think that the image does not display cyberpunk or the rain very well. The cyberpunk bit relies solely on the fact that you recognise the man from Blade Runner. The umbrella symbolises rain but it could be so much better if you could actually see the rain (it's in the title for a reason). So an image that was more overtly cyberpunk and well...raining.

The umbrella looks pretty futuristic to me with the laser and all, but I agree. Picture also has some pretty iffy quality.

There's quite a bit of original artwork out there displaying rainy cyberpunk cities, but of course, we'd have to deal with permission.

+1 to pull the current, for quality issues if nothing else. I like the concept art, but I dunno that it would resize well.

The second pic resizes well, I think. The first one is very wide and not very tall, so I wonder if just cropping would be better.

Doesn't really say "cyberpunk" to me.

What do you think is missing? I'm just curious so I can go and find some more images, just because while it has the usual visual cues to me, if it's not enough for another poster I'll find something we can all agree on.

That pic looked like a regular modern Japanese city at night to me, at first. It took me a while to notice the flying cars in the background, they don't stick out enough.

It took that post to make me realize that those blue lights are actually flying cars...they're way too indistinct.

I still like the ones I suggested.

Would this◊ be any better? Still a little large, but it certainly shows cyberpunk better, and also the rain.
