Suggestion: The Lancer

The current image on The Lancer is Just A Face And A Caption, as the previous thread noted, but that seems to have been autolocked. One of the suggestions was better than the current, since it wasn't just a pose:

That works. It does imply foil.

Star Wars is a well known enough example, and he does look like a snarky foil to the hero. I'd support it given the lack of anything better.

That's pretty good...paired with a good caption, I'd support that over the current.

I agree with nitrokitty about Han being a famous enough example to get away with JAFAAC. That, and the proposed image isn't that good, IMO.

I think nitro was in favor of the suggestion, if I'm reading that right.

Maybe a picture of Luke and Han Solo fighting together will work.

Clock is set. I'm still in favor of the OP, paired with a suitably snarky/Foilish caption.

Maybe the famous "Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid."

Alright, the clock's up on this one. Overall, the thread leans toward replacing the old pic with the suggestion, so I've swapped them in. I put the pertinent line of dialogue from that scene in as the caption; if you don't like it, swap it for the "hokey religions" line. Locking up.
