I don't think that suggestion illustrates it well. It could work with a caption, but it'd still be pretty weak.

please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.Thanks for changing the title. As I said, the Matrix one is intended as a last resort.
Here's the image◊ from Never Let Me Go (film). I'm not sure what the copyright policy is, but I assume it would be safe to use?

The image copyright policy is at About Images and Copyright - simply put, we can't use an entire image without permission.
I think your suggestion can easily be cropped, but I need to know where the chip is.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt's already a cropped area of one frame of a film, which that page seems to suggest is acceptable, but I understand if it needs to be cropped more.
The chip is inside the person's wrist, and not visible in the image, which shows it being scanned.

Whole frames are fine. That is a tiny portion of even a very short work.
We can't use an entire work without permission. Some works consist of only one image.

I think Tracking Chip could use an image. I think the best type would be of a chip being scanned, such as in Casino Royale or Never Let Me Go, but I can't find images for those.
As a last resort, the bug◊ from The Matrix could be used, but I don't think it illistrates the trope as well.
