Anyway, I'm here now and hoping to post in the not too distant future, though I do have to catch up on some things first so it could be a while or up to a couple hours.

It's actually a character I'm playing in Nman's RP. Damn - I didn't know the thing about Foster's. I thought the name was original.

I think school is starting back up for some people? I'm not certain though.

Anyway, I'm here but I'm not gonna try posting yet. Stupid shit in real life has me really angry right now and I don't think it's a good idea for me to post like this. (It's nothing important, thankfully. It's just really frustrating and I need a while to cool off.)

I will try to post before I go to bed at the latest, but not now.

In the meantime though, as was hinted at in my post by Jeff reacting to it, the barking dog was meant to be audible to everyone; the house is a bit off the road but not terribly far. Earl's statement seems to imply he has no idea what could possibly be causing the shooting to happen. (Though maybe I'm just reading it wrong, I don't fucking know.)

I'm going to assume they noticed but Recon hasn't exactly said anything to respond to. Also just edited my last post to give Max something to react to.

@Fantasy: She's in her brunette disguise, but she did change her teeth from normal Human teeth to teeth that are sharpened to points when she snarled at Jeff in my post before my latest one. (4680)

Also, nice catch on the dog food. Good to know someone is still paying attention for clues.

@Gameknight: What Fantasy said. Since Red did kill the dog, your post said that in that case Recon would just run up beside him. Other than noting the fact that he's there, there isn't really anything else for Red or Garnet to say about that. Other than maybe, "oh hi Recon."

Anyway, I'm here but I actually need to run out to get myself some dinner shortly, so I'm not going to be trying to post until after that at the earliest.

Sometimes things are slow; it's unfortunate but there's really not much we can do about it.

Anyway, I'm here now but have a little bit of writer's block and want to catch up on some things regardless, so it's gonna be a while at least before I post.

And having a slow GM due to real life stuff ain't helping much either.

In all seriousness though, it would be nice to see the people who haven't posted in a while post, or at least confirm that they're still interested in the game. As for myself, I'm gonna be posting shortly though it's going to be a fairly simple post I think. In the meantime, since I got it while at work earlier, my schedule for next week:

Got work on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday; they're all later shifts as I'm used to thankfully, though they are also pretty long shifts, so if I'm mysteriously absent any of those nights you can probably assume I got exhausted by work. Then of course on Friday there's another RPG night with friends, to my knowledge.

Anyway, I'm here now after work, but I'm kind of waiting on posts and kind of want to catch up on some videos. So I don't think I'll be posting for a while.

EDIT: Also apparently RPG night with friends this Friday has been cancelled this week.

And now the latest excuse for my lack of posting is that I've been sick the last couple of days. (Had to call in sick today, actually.) I mean, I say "excuse" as if I was just making it up, but I assure you with all the complete lack of verification I can supply over the internet that it is, indeed, the truth. And actually to be honest, I got really distracted today and probably could've posted earlier despite being sick, but I forgot. That one is totally my bad and I do apologize for that.

I come on to say now that I will do my damned hardest to post tomorrow after work, assuming I go to work tomorrow. (I'm feeling better now but am definitely still sick. I intend to call and see whether they want me to come in or not, seeing as I could potentially still be contagious.) Assuming I do work, it could be a fairly late post since it will be a long shift to begin with and I may be exhausted when I get home, but I'm still going to try really hard to remember to post before going to bed tomorrow night. (/morning, since I'm actually nocturnal.)

Man, you guys didn't all get sick too, did you? Well, I'm still technically sick but I feel almost completely back to normal now. I've been back from work for a good while now but was catching up on some videos after a quick post in another RP. Being almost fully recovered and my work for the week finished, I'm feeling about ready to try and get things moving here faster than a crawl. (Though I'm only going to get a 1 day weekend, which I'll get to down below, so we'll see how that goes.)

@Atomic: Since I have a suspicion that it might be why you haven't posted yet; if you're waiting for a response to Israfel's action on Sophia's part, Fantasy edited one into post #4698 on the previous page.

As for other people, without word from him IC or OOC for a long while I fear we may have lost Tricksen; if we don't hear from him by the time you guys are leaving the next town, we'll assume that Sheila and Shay go off on their separate ways for now. (Presumably to get word to the GPS and VHG respectively.) This will mean losing Sheila's car.

I'd also suspect we were losing Nman but he made a comment in skype for another RP that he probably wouldn't be posting for a few days anyway. (For that RP at least, but I got the impression that he may have meant TV Tropes as a whole.) I do have some ideas on how to replace the firetruck if he is out, (Since Max would definitely take that with him, and Orion would take his car, which would leave you guys with just a van that doesn't have a functional engine and couldn't fit everyone remaining anyway.) but I'll probably give him longer than Tricksen before assuming he's out anyway.

As for myself, I haven't posted yet because I'm still figuring out what I would post if I end up double posting, but I will be doing my best to post before I go to bed later, double post or otherwise. Right now though is probably the best time to bring up my schedule for next week:

Same as this week, though this time I shouldn't have to call off any work days due to being sick, and RPG night with friends shouldn't be getting cancelled. So that's work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday, all normal shifts; and RPG night on Friday.

I'm still around. It's a combination of two things. The first is that there wasn't much to do, and the other is that with the way things are right now I don't like having to waste time dealing with petty arguments that stress me out, and that's really sapped my motivation. If it becomes a problem to you just kill off Max and Orion, that's the simplest solution and preferable to alternatives like being made into dead weight NPCs. If I'm feeling up to things again later then I'd rather just roll a new character than have to catch up on what I missed and incorporate what stuff they did into their personality in some slapdash fashion.

Also Mantle's back around under a new handle since he lost his password, in the event you need another player you could probably try hitting him up.

One of my golden rules is not to force someone to play if they don't want to, so if you simply don't want to play in the RP anymore all you have to do is say so Nman; I'm not going to be mad about it. As it stands this is only really a problem if you were to ask that we wait so you can post, and then never post yourself, thus stalling the game.

Anyway, I'm not going to kill off Max and Orion; I'd do that if I was kicking you out, as in, you weren't allowed to return. But for things as they are now all I would do here is simply hand wave them as leaving. That way if/when you came back, you could return as either them or new characters, your choice. (Or one and the other, since it's a two character limit, after all.)

Now, in regards to the main thread, a post on my part is still pending. (My main problem right now is that there is something going on you guys just aren't fully aware of, and I'm not sure how much of it I want to hand wave through.) It should be up within the next two hours... Hopefully.

Also, it occurred to me a ways back but I kept on forgetting to do anything about it: Thor and Fang would also be hearing something like Arthur is, and would probably be investigating it too.

I am still around too. I think part of it is a combination of being sick (I am as well), school starting up for some people, and just being kind of a slow scene. Hopefully, we get back on track. It'd be a shame to see this thing sputter out and die.

I am determined to do my best not to let this RP die; though there are certain lows even I will not fall to. Suffice to say, if this RP dies it will not be because of lack of interest on my part.

But anyway, Tricksen and Nman were the only two of immediate concern; everyone else has posted recently enough that while it's clear you all can't quite devote as much time to the RP as you possibly could before, it seems you're all still interested and present. (At least, partially.)

Now, I'm finally actually working on the post, having decided how to proceed; I'm going to move us along out of this scene entirely. I won't be including the start of the next scene yet as I do not think I have the time to do that, nor the inspiration just yet; that will come tomorrow or the day after, even if it's a double post on my part. (You guys could still interact in the vehicles in the meantime if you want.)
