Akame ga Kiru

Esdeath lost steam with her character by the end yeah.

It was an okay action story, but I honestly feel it could have been a lot more só you could say I am dissapointed with it but that's been going on for a very long time só... -shrugs-

As for the chapter... I can't believe she is dead, seriously.

Who Will be there for me now? Who Will be there to insult and belittle me when I am feeling Good about myself?

Who Will be there to put me in my place? Tô force me to Go back to where I belong?

I dunno what I am gonna do without you...

It was a middling little manga from start to finish.

It was never really my thing but I knew that going in. For what it was, it was okay.

I alwayd thought this should have been a weekly manga, it always had that feel.

Also I find it funny that one of the main things people are talking bout now is how Tatsumi is gonna maintain a relationship, especially a physical one with Mine now that hes a giant fucking dragon.

It was pretty mediocre, but it was still entertaining despite that so I didn't hate it.

And yea, Esdeath had basically been used up. It's good to have a major Shonen villain be a female for once, but it came at the cost of her beiing an actual character. I didn't feel a damn thing when she died.

I'm kinda glad Tatsumi survived tho, but I do understand how it kinda comes out of nowhere so I'm not going to excuse it with that.

I liked it for the most part of what it was. I do believe though that about half way through the series, pacing did become issue because suddenly a bunch of new characters were being introduced to artificially "prolong" the core members of Night Raid and the Jaeggers. Chelsea, Susanoo, The Four Rakshasa Demons, Wild Hunt they all felt kind of like filler to stretch out the story.

It's one of my favorites. :)

Final thoughts: good popcorn entertainment that satisfies my penchant for cool battles and interesting powers. Unfortunate that there's not much depth to the story and characters, with gray morality especially lacking given it's a story about assassins working for the good. Also did inspire one of my pet projects, so I can thank this manga for that.

At most a time killer, with pretty shallow characters and a generic plot, but the Teigu concept, with weapons made from monsters, is the most interesting concept, but is horribly wasted. Morality is too black and white, with Night Raid being absolute good guys and everyone else are pretty much personification of tropes.

It was a fun ride, I'd give it 8/10 on entertainment alone.

I'll give Esdeath this most villains of her ilk would start balling and whining about how unfair it is

She lost, She died simple as that.

INB 4 IT WAS SOMEONES DUTY TO SAVE HER FROM HERSELF!

I liked this one a lot more than Black Lagoon.

Don't expect anything more than stupid edge and hype moments.

Then you're good. This was fun but never categorize it as actual quality.

A thing least if Mine gets out of a coma, she won't have to worry about tatsumi having a lack of endowment. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

We should thank the crazed emperor for Tats survival. If he never literally back stabbed him then the whole begging for more power probably would've turned graphic.

Maybe... Leone will live by becoming a permanent cat girl. Yes I just want Leone to live!
