Fictional Character to note: An elf from Dwarf Fortress (Pick one... ANY one.)
- Pride: Calling the dwarves short... NOT cool!
- Wrath: Especially when one cuts a tree down.
- Gluttony: The fact they eat their opponents upon maiming them is cruel.
- Greed: Always desiring the non-wood goods of the dwarven fortress, be it metal, stone, or possibly bone.
- Envy: Best I can draw up for this one is their desire for the fortress' shinies in exchange for wooden goods.
- Sloth: During elven sieges, they're often too lazy to get proper armor!
- Lust: Well, not exactly sentient to sentient, but the elves love their plants a tad too much.

I've only recently gained an interest in the "Red Vs. Blue" series, and have only seen up to the end of Season 3...but I'm still going to pick Caboose!
- Pride: He, and nobody else, is as wise and talented enough to be Church's super-bestest-buddy!
- Envy: ...Unfortunately, it seems as though Tucker already holds that position...
- Lust: ...But at least he has Sheila to keep him company! Mmm...Sheila...
- Wrath: O'Malley's brief influence has taught him the value of anger, and has inspired at least one 'burnt toast' metaphor.
- Greed: Just because Tucker asked nicely, it doesn't mean he's going to get that sniper rifle anytime soon. Or late. Or ever, come to think of it.
- Sloth: Is he really as foolish as he seems, or is it just an act to get out of doing the hard jobs?
- Gluttony: He likes eggs...and that's all I've got to say on the matter.

- Pride: Bolbox prides himself as a human and, therefore, the ultimate life form. He doesn't know he's a giant amoeba, you see.
- Lust: Come on, Bolbox outright obsesses over Gaia, thinks that he is the most suitable partner to her, and she thinks he is evil.
- Gluttony: The reason Bolbox even exists is because he ate an entire bunch of huge crystals.
- Sloth: He doesn't fight you by himself, only sending his slaves to fight against you or weakly attempting to catch you with his tentacle.
- Envy: He certainly would envy anybody as the partner of Gaia.
- Wrath: And go batshit insane, not unlike a Yandere.
- Greed: Bolbox ate a bunch of crystals. He probably hogs them somewhere to keep them from potential rivals.

In which case every fictional character has committed every single cardinal sin. This does not have to be taken seriously. Just try to get them to fit each one.
For example:
Shaggy
- Sloth: Well, he is a stoner.
- Pride: He'll mention from time to time how easily they'll be able to solve the case
- Wrath: What did those poor costumed people ever do to him?
- Greed: He always tries to hog those Scooby Snacks to himself.
- Gluttony: He's always eating.
- Lust: We all know everyone wants in Daphne's skirt.
- Envy: He's probably jealous of people that can run faster than him.
