I remember when I won 3v5 as Lifestealer and the enemy Lina (who killed Broodmother and Drow and made them leave the game) on the other team called us "bitches".
edited 25th Apr '15 11:42:43 AM by Eldrake
It's funny because the Shadow Fiend who bitched at me for Sven being a "noob hero" skilled Requiem at 6.
What's wrong with skilling Requiem at 6?
"Steel wins battles. Gold wins wars."People usually get Requiem after fully skilling up Necromastery, since Requiem builds off of Necromastery.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.Also, Requiem is one of those ults that doesn't do much at 6.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Yeah. It's generally best to not put any points into Requiem (or Presence, for that matter) until you've maxed Necromastery and Shadowraze.
Are you sure it's not because of the Techies in your team?
EDIT: LOL, Lich with skadi.

If I knew how I know everything I know, I'd only be able to know half as much because my brain would be clogged up with where I know it fromThere's... actually not a whole lot on the event page itself.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity. But it already is next week. VOLVO GIFF UPDATE PLZZ .
If I knew how I know everything I know, I'd only be able to know half as much because my brain would be clogged up with where I know it fromVulvo pls giff nerf to HOO HOO HAA HAA
AND GIFF SNIPER ARCANA (at 4:22)
If I knew how I know everything I know, I'd only be able to know half as much because my brain would be clogged up with where I know it fromI NEVER thought I would ever say this, but I can't wait for Sniper to get nerfed.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Just a few minutes ago, I learned that jungle creeps in DOTA: All-Stars sleep during nighttime and won't aggro if you stand in the camp, requiring you to actually damage them. I'm assuming that this is one of those Warcraft III things that they couldn't remove.
I've told people that don't play DOTA that DOTA 2 isn't actually a sequel and that a more accurate title would be "DOTA: Less Restrictive Game Engine Edition".
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.Yeah, that was a built-in Warcraft III mechanic, but I think it was modifiable to some extent (like, I don't think golems slept at night), so I'm thinking that they may have kept it in DOTA 1 on purpose.
FE: Genealogy Story Run 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiIIRC neutrals sleeping at night were something of an integral code in All Stars, and couldn't actually be removed.

Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Ah, I can't wait to continue playing in a few weeks, once classes end.
I can wear my hats again, lose miserably, and wonder why I wanted to play again.
Mud Golems no longer have Spell Immunity
And Chens, Enchantresses, and Enigmas everywhere shall rejoice. There are plenty of other changes to take advantage of this, too.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.Actually, Chen can already use Holy Persuasion on them.
Edit: Oooooh, now I understand.

Skimmed through everything, and the main thing I enjoyed was the slight nerfs to Sniper and Troll. I was expecting a mana cost increase as well, but you can't get it all, I suppose.
Also digging the new items and those new additions to Vlad's aura.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets. In case you didn't see them. Will edit in my reactions shortly.
Assuredly interesting, although I can't dig through all the changes right now.
That's actually pretty important. Abyssal is a powerful item, and even if those heroes can't pick up the extra Bash, it's still another option open.
YOU WUT M8? With all the new Aghs....
Icefrog pls.
That's... interesting. Very interesting....
ICEFROG PLS.
ICEFROG PLS.
That's gotta be a huge quality of life buff for Io players.
We League now? Wait... Kotl plus Bristle new (well, better) meta?
Kunkka Io now. That's gonna make dodging Torrent harder if you were paying attention before.
A bit risky if you're more likely to lose a prolonged duel, but unlikely you'd buy this if you were losing duels anyway.
Wait, what? Does this stack with infest? Lifestealer + Spirit Breaker/Clockwerk + one more new meta?
Fear the bear.
Damn. Now you can Eclipse your initatior instead of having to dive in yourself.
WTF Icefrog two heroes one game?
SLAHSER'S WAY!
And all because there was an arcana with a sign... that eventually got added to the default hero....
[[quoteblock]] Toss now grabs the closest unit rather than a random uni
T'was not luck, but skill!
We Street Fighter now.
That's something.
I'LL HELP MY WEAK AND PUNY ALLIES WHERE I CAN.
The big thing here is that some mid-game items now have late-game continuations, which means more potential item progression, especially for supports that tend to grab value items.
We League now.
And slot-wanting supports everywhere rejoice.
As someone who loves a fast Boots of Travel, this is amazing.
Not 322, Icefrog pls.
That's actually a boon to tanky Radiance heroes.
Wards confirmed delicious.
All in all, time to relearn the game.

Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.I will edit my reactions here.
- Silence no longer disables Invisibility
And Riki is happy soul.
- Greevil's Greed now grants 4x gold bounty from Runes
I need to see how that works, because that's a lot.
- Alchemist can now cast Aghanim's Scepter to directly grant any allied hero all Aghanim's Scepter bonuses as a buff (the hero upgrade and the stat upgrade). The scepter is consumed in the process. Multiple instances of this buff do not stack. Alchemist can target himself as well
u fookin wot m8? I need to see this in action to understand it better.
Holy motherfucker Alchemist carries so hard he buys an aghanim's scepter for his entire team! It's over.
- Flamebreak damage changed from an instant 75/150/225/300 damage to 50 damage per second for 1/2/3/4 seconds
- Firefly damage reduced from 20/40/60/80 to 10/30/50/70
lmao batrider nerfs

Smartest mage.
- Blade Fury now has the same Spell Immunity on cast dispel behavior as other Spell Immunities
Does that mean that haste isn't dispelled if he goes Blade Fury? I hope so.
- Chakra Magic now adds a buff that that reduces the cooldown of the next spell its target casts by 1/2/3/4 seconds. Buff lasts 12 seconds.
Cancer Lancer and Kotol of the Keeper making a comeback as the most cancerous lane.
- Added Aghanim's Scepter upgrade to Lifestealer: that entire upgrade
Gives a whole new meaning to GET INSIDE ME
- Added Aghanim's Scepter upgrade: Song of the Siren Scepter now regenerates you and nearby allies by 6% of maximum HP per second for up to 7 seconds.
Naga + Aghs Rushing Alchemist = Alchemist gets FREE HEALING
- Aghanim's Scepter-upgraded Wrath of Nature now spawns a Nature's Call treant whenever it kills a unit. Killing a hero will spawn a stronger treant (3x damage and health of a normal one)
WAVE OF TREES
- Added Aghamin's Scepter upgrade to Nyx: Adds a new ability, Burrow, with a one second cast time. While Burrowed, Nyx Assassin is invisible and unable to move/attack, but has 40% damage resistance, and regenerates 1.5% of his health and mana per second. Nyx Assassin's abilities also have improved properties while burrowed: Mana Burn and Impale have 50% increased cast range, Impale Cooldown is reduced from 13 to 9, and Spiked Carapace instantly stuns any enemy units within a 300 area of effect without requiring them to hurt him first. Casting Vendetta causes Burrow to end
We Lurker now
- Techies Aghanim's Scepter upgrade now causes the Minefield Sign to make all Land Mines, Stasis Traps and Remote Mines within 125 area of effect immune to True Sight. Can only have one sign out at a time
And Techies everywhere were happy.
- Added Aghanim's Scepter to Tusk: Adds a new ability called Walrus Kick. Kicks the target back 900 units. The kick slows by 40% for 4 seconds. 12 second cooldown
FALCON KICK!
- Reworked Enrage
Ursa is officially a tank now.
- Added Aghanim's Scepter upgrade to Wraith King: Allies who are near Wraith King (within 1200 aoe) when slain become Wraiths for 5 seconds, delaying their death. They can continue attacking, casting, etc. When the duration ends, the hero dies, and credit for the kill goes to whowever landed the original killing blow.
YOUR KING DEMANDS THAT YOU KEEP FIGHTING!
- Guardian Greaves

Octarine Core: DOTA is now League of Legends.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.I'm pretty sure it means that it frees up an item slot for anyone (including Alchemist) who has an Agh's upgrade, while consuming the item in the process. So I'm taking it to mean that if Alchemist uses it on himself, he virtually gains seven item slots, with the Agh's bonus as the seventh.
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.
My biggest fear is that the patch buffs Riki juuust enough for pros to use him and realize that Smoke Screen is one of the most OP basic abilities ever. At least that's the way it feels. Though, Riki does have a vastly more soothing voice than Sniper or Troll Warlord.
