So, after having played the game today, I have decided to make a thread about it!

And so far, I'm impressed, I don't recognise the gameplay style, but I'm sure someone can give me a hand with that. tongue I'm currently at the point where I can't even keep an eye on what's going on, but damn, I still find it strangely fun.

Anyone got some first ideas on this? I can't see too much of the Allegedly Free Game about it, but there again, I'm low-level still, so I can't tell.

It's the kind of game where some people (read:payers) being able to dominate more than others doesn't really affect anyone's enjoyment unless they let it get to them. Besides, since it's XBL exclusive it's more like a subscription perk than a real F 2 P.

It seems pretty fun, if simplistic.

Sadly, whenever I try to join a game I always disconnect before it starts. I've managed to join exactly one, and even there got kicked out before it was over.

'Bout durn time Microsoft threw itself into the Free-To-Play market.

Although I have absolutely no clue how good this game is, I'll still give it a go when I am back in contact with my 360.

[up]Didn't Microsoft indirectly get in the F 2 P market with the release of Age Of Empires Online?

Well that wasn't on the Xbox.

The only F 2 P games that expect you to have a controller for proper play are Dungeon Fighter Online and Rusty Hearts and those are two of my faves. Shame RH won't @$%&ing install.

Any of the MMO brawlers out there (and anything else that doesn't use mouse-aim, to some extent) are probably better played with a controller but for some reason few games other than DFO and RH are actually optimized for it.

Then again, most doujin fighting games are initially optimized for keyboards.

This is a very fun game. There are issues with Matchmaking, they're working on it, but the AI is very good.

They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!
