No thread just yet? For shame!

Characters aren't anywhere near as awesome as Steins;Gate but I like the flow so far. I keep waiting for cameos from Daru or something though QQ

Just saw the first episode. Wondering whether this will be a Slice of Life, The Future Is Noir or both (a la Dennou Coil)

It's more likely to be a psychological thriller, like Steins;Gate, with bits of Romcom elements.

So it gets Darker and Edgier than the pilot lets on?

It isn't sure yet, but Both Stein and Chaos did.

The "Whose eyes are these" line at the end strongly suggests it.

Has anyone been able to read or translate the visual novel?

I looked into a translation for the VN a while back, but it sounded like it got LEGAL'D!~!!

Episode 1: Pretty good. I'm a sucker for lighthearted sci fi and the characters are okay so far (though Kai is... hmmm... selfish? Kinda refreshing, but I wanna whack him too). And if Steins;Gate is any indication this will turn into a thriller somehow, and the end of the episode gives us hints as to how.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't "those eyes, whose eyes are those eyes?" from Chaos;Head? Or something else? It sounds very familiar.

It is. And it's incredibly central to the plot, so it showing up here seems Significant. In light of that, it's interesting to question how much of Chaos;Head happened here; if it happened just as it did in the anime/VN, then, well, yeah. It seems likely we'll find out pretty quickly. Kind of hard to miss a giant earthquake in Tokyo.

Compared to CH and SG so far, RN feels... sane. I hope that changes.

Might be because the main characters aren't... quirky.

What I'm looking forward to the most at the moment is how this conspiracy thing pans out.

Oh, and whether the robot girl has any cool functions. If that's what she is.

Both of the MCs could probably pass as having personality disorders, but they aren't crazy enough I think is what it is.

Oh they have their own quirks alright, but not at the level of a disorder.

Incorrect; they both could place on the autism spectrum.

I saw the 1st ep of this, and all I could say is that it seems... normal, I mean, like a sane slice of life so far, the characters aren't as memorable as Steins;Gate, but there's still a whole series ahead for them to grow in my view, talk about expecting things to get weirder... specially after I heard the "whose eyes" arc-line by the end. just hope it doesn't get as convoluted as Chaos;Head (the anime at least, I have no idea how the VN was), will it be as enjoyable as S;G?

CH was only bad because it made so many promises that it just couldn't keep. If RN were to make those sorts of promises and avoid that kind of colossal cop-out, it would be an all-time great.

You're not supposed to make Main/ redirects to work pages.

what do you mean? these redirects are only everywhere, and they're useful when we're mentioning a work on the forums (I know that the namespace should be prioritized in the wiki, but still, there's a hassle about knowing exactly what kind of media is the work)

The ones that are kept are meant to preserve inbounds. New work pages do not get main/ redirects.

2nd episode impressions - the female lead is beginning to annoy me - scratch that - I'm considerably annoyed by her (.)
