To those who watched the Brazil release of Legend of Everfree, how was it? Particularly compared to the novelization. Was Timber and his relationship witch Sci-Twi like Flash but worse (cuz that's what I'm getting from the novelization with all the shilling and being somehow less subtle compared to Flash's moments with Pony-Twi) or did the actual movie do him justice?
I'm guessing the actual book lays it on thicker because it has prose to work with. It's not that bad in the movie, he's a step above Flash in terms of personality— but it's a small step. He still lacks any notable flaws, but will probably be praised for not being Flash.
"I feel like I'm on a raft and surrounding me is an ocean of dumb."- Mr. SarkOh boy, this is gonna be a doozy...
It seems the UK is gonna have a Pony Bomb next week, and it's the rest of Season 6. The last episodes of this season are gonna be airing EARLY. So remember, let's try to keep discussion on those particular episodes in this thread when the time comes next week. This is gonna be a crazy ride.
Oh also, y'all UK fans, try your best to get some time to watch on the telly for high ratings, it starts next Wednesday.

This song needs more love.I'll be honest, this is getting kind of old. What drives these people to make these decisions?
"I feel like I'm on a raft and surrounding me is an ocean of dumb."- Mr. SarkWhat is with other countries airing stuff before normal schedule anyways?
First Power Rangers (not including Sentai), then Steven Universe, and now both MLP and EQG.
Gavan, Let's get jiggy!I'm an impatient person with a terrible work schedule, and can I just say...
HOLY FUCKING SHIT...
Gavan, Let's get jiggy!God fucking damnit.
Is this another part of pony friendship? Telling each other what you learned all the time?Thoughts on part one of the finale:
Man if the payoff is anything like the setup, we're looking at a great season finale.
Great character stuff with Starlight reluctant to be a leader, solid voice performance work with the main six being off even when not being jerks, and an incredibly intriguing dynamic with the unlikely four now having to save the day. This also feels like its effectively paying off the seasons arcs with Discord, Trixie, and Starlight now in the conclusion of their arcs (from villains to reformed antagonists, to now being true heroes). Throw in some fun character bits like Twilight's jealousy of Trixie being the best friend and Discord's lines and you have everything the Crystalling part one should have been, and utterly failed at. Fingers crossed that part 2 sticks the landing.

Still waiting for a Legion of Losers movie...Wait, who's the fourth?
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Thorax
Still waiting for a Legion of Losers movie...And who is the antagonist?
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Chrysalis and the Changelings. They've kidnapped the mane 6, the alicorns, and Shining Armor. Starlight sees something's off with the mane 6 after she returns to Ponyville being gone a few days. Following a dream message from captured Luna telling her of the Changeling's plan, she and Trixie are joined by Thorax and Discord. Episode ends with the four of them looking upon Chrysalis' castle.

Still waiting for a Legion of Losers movie...MY DREAMS HAVE COME TRUE.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?So not only does almost the entire cast of the show get worfed, but it's entirely offscreen. Screw it, why not. Changelings being changelings, they can take as much time as they need to set things up.
There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only... Hooty.I wonder how much (if at all) Equal Town is going to factor into part 2. They (the writers) went through the trouble of Starlight agonizing over going back there, and then having the whole scene with Trixie. Then again, it's also possible they only made it as a setup for Starlight's fear of being put in a leadership position.
(Sidenote, I also wonder why we're spoiler-tagging our posts in a spoiler talk thread?)

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...Eh, we did the same spoiler tagging in the spoiler thread thing for Steven Universe's spoiler thread when we got a bunch of leaks that even the writers said they didn't want us to look at.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I was surprised to see it airing. They scheduled this week's episode to air early to but then didn't.
I'm not the kind of fan that gets excited when Trixie shows up— not that I dislike her but she's not my fave— but she was really great in this episode. I may or may not be aboard the S.S Starlight/Trixie.
Also, nice call back to the first EQG movie.
"I feel like I'm on a raft and surrounding me is an ocean of dumb."- Mr. SarkMeh. Wake me when it's over.
Your momma's so dumb she thinks oral sex means talking dirty. And there's already an entry of Take That, Scrappy for Starlight on the episode. Of course.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I just realized that, so far, this is the kid friendly/ MLP version of Suicide Squad.

Looks like they're Passing the Torch then, eh?
